BLACK+DECKER Steam Iron for Clothes with Retractable Cord

Used this iron as soon as I received it. It is lightweight when in use and it heated up fairly quickly. Other then the sound of the steam coming out of the iron it was fairly easy to use. For the price point that I bought it at and for what it does for my shirts and suits. The retractable cord is a very solid plus that helps when storing in my closet as well. Very satisfied with the purchase!

Iron is great - lightweight, works like a charm, and has a retractable cord. This replaced the one just like it we bought 11 years ago, and that one would probably still be working if we had used distilled water like the manual says. But noooo, we insist on using Texas Panhandle hard tap water.

I wouldn't buy this iron! Mine quit working after 4 months. I contacted the company and they told me it was only warranted for 3 months. that's very indicative of a poor product to have a warranty that short. I contacted the company again and they said they would "open a case." After sending pictures and receipts and other information to the company as they requested, I never heard back. I tried contacting them by email twice more with no reply. I finally called them and they said it was "out of warranty." Essentially they strung me along for months and then gave me the same answer. I won't be buying Black and Decker products from now on.

This iron is very light weight, retractable cord, It was delivered today. I started to use it right away and absolutely love it! It is everything I expected and more! Very inexpensive but looks expensive! It is so perfect for all clothes!

My old Black and Decker iron served me well, but the Teflon sole plate got stained - see pic. I don’t know why - spray starch? It still worked fine with the stains till it started to pull and drag. Stainless steel sole plate this time. I appreciate the self winding cord. The heat selections are backwards from my last iron. I thought it wasn’t heating up at first, till I figured it out . The directions are not that clear. I still don’t get how to use the self cleaning button. It says heat the iron up then turn to min heat selection, hold over sink and turn to self clean. Had to guess which one that is. Nothing was happening so I just pushed burst of steam button and the vents seem to be cooperating. It does not get quite as hot as my old iron, maybe that’s a good thing It does the job it’s supposed too nicely. The directions say to turn to min heat selection before unplugging and when first turning on, and adding water, then choose setting. Almost 5 stars. Depends on how long it lasts me.

Lightweight and does a great job! The steam feature works well. Just wish the water tank had a clear cover so I could actually see how much water is in there.

This is hands down the best iron I’ve owned. It heats up incredibly fast and glides smoothly over all types of fabric without sticking. The steam function is powerful and makes getting rid of tough wrinkles much easier and faster than my previous irons. ​It’s also comfortable to hold and has a good weight to it—not too heavy, but solid enough to do the job well. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-performing iron for daily use, this is the one to get!

This iron is of great quality for its cost. So far it works well above my expectations.

La plancha está lista hacer bien su función de vapor, el problema es con la retracción del no cable, no o funcioauy bien, se atora mucho, tuve una igual de la misma marca y nunca tuve problemas con guardar el cable de hecho la plancha me duró más de 10 años por eso compré la misma marca pero creo que han bajado su calidad es una lástima. Ojalá no se descomponga pronto porque compre va ése modelo precisamente porque tiene donde guardar el cable. Sugiero que tengan más control de calidad en ése tema
