Really nice saw
Well designed product and well made. So far, it cuts really well, true and straight. Of course it remains to be seen how long the teeth last.

Excellent Saw
This saw is phenomenal. This is the first saw I have ever owned that leaves me feeling disappointed when I am nearing completion of the cut...because it feels so good making the cut that I wish it could go on longer. (sounds crazy, but it's true!) Works well for rip and cross cuts (I've mostly used it in moderate hardwoods, like cherry and maple). The thin blade and pull-stroke cutting take a little bit of adjustment if you're used to push saws, but once I got used to it, this is the first saw I reach for.

This is what woodworking should be...
I never used a Japanese pull-saw before. Always fought with western saws binding and bending. This saw is a dream. I have a 3D printer, and printed up some miter guides for the saw. You can buy magnetic guides online, and they turn this saw into a $1000 miter saw. The accuracy and smoothness of the cuts which are possible with this saw continue to amaze me. Do not use as a flush cut saw, since the kerf is wider than the body of the blade. Also do not use as a dovetail saw unless using with a good guide as the saw does not have a rigid spine. But for ripping and cross-cutting, its fantastic. And fun to use.

Cuts on PULL
Who ever thought of this is a mechanical genius. It makes sawing wood SO much easier and helps with getting very fine, very precise cuts. I with I’d bought one decades ago. This one - I already had a much smaller one I’ve used for about two years - will replace a BIGGER [name brand] saw I’ve had hanging on my wall for various projects it’s just too cumbersome setting up the table saw, circular saw or chop saw for PLUS, there are places where I can get a blade in JUST far enough to PULL cut, but have no room to PUSH cut. A good investment, nice to have tool for the home - or other - workshop.

Sharp, Large, and In Charge
This is my third Ryoba saw I’ve owned in my time, and it’s unquestionably the best. Very Sharp, very Comfortable to handle, and definitely a great looking tool. My second favorite feature is how the teeth on the rip side of the saw gradually decrease in size and spacing as it gets closer to the handle, making the initial pull much smoother as you begin. but the best part of this saw is the size. I probably should’ve taken note of the dimensions when I placed the order, but I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it to find it’s about 50% bigger than my other Japanese saws. It feels like I’m holding a sword. I reckon it’s big enough for timber framing, though I’ve only used it for building furniture this far. Great tool. Great results. Very pleased with it.

Nice little hand saw
This is a great little hand saw. I've used it several times now since I received it and it works beautifully. It was a little thinner than I thought it was going to be, but if you go slow it cuts very well

SHARP!
Having used this saw a few times since receiving it there is no question that this is the sharpest hand saw I have ever used. Compared to other Japanese saws in my modest collection, Temple Tools is, far and away, the best! This saw goes through wood like a hot knife cutting soft butter. I have never experienced the quality of this saw!
