Great looking Nerf Bars! Fairly easy install, Directions were a little off
First off, I have a 2002 Ford Ranger Edge regular cab. Package arrived via FedEx ground 7 days after ordered, a good time considering the weight involved. Bars were VERY WELL packaged. Bars were individually wrapped in bubble wrap and labeled as to which side (I.E. Drivers side) However as nice as that was, they were labeled wrong. Hardware (brackets and bolts/washers/nuts) were all in a little box. Then everything was boxed together with foam to prevent movement in transit. Everything was received in perfect showroom condition! Install, used bolts and FACTORY holes. Absolutely NO DRILLING was required. Directions were decent with Written instructions as well as actual pictures which was a GODSEND! Thanks to the pictures, I had NO PROBLEM locating the proper factory body holes and figuring out bracket orientation. Each bracket is factory stamped with its install location. (I.E. DF for Driver side front bracket) However, the only problem came after I installed brackets and time to install bars on brackets. As mentioned the bars were labeled wrong. Drivers side was actually the passengers side and visa versa. Even the directions got this wrong. The directions state that you know the correct side as the front of the bar leg is shorter than the rear leg of same bar. Following the directions AND package labeling I installed the bars. However they were NOT straight with the body and the actual step was near the rear of the bar, not where one would step to get in. So I removed the bars and swapped the sides. (I.e. Driver's side went to passengers). Once I did that the bars are straight with the body and steps in the correct location. They look great. My only other small grip is I wished they would stick out 1" more from the body. They are so close that I cannot step on the step with my full foot. Though this slim design makes it very easy to get out!

Easy Install
I have a 2004 Ford Ranger that these are on and after 16 years they started to rust so I decided to get some new ones and replace. The truck was my father’s and only has 60k on it so I’ll be keeping it awhile still in great condition. I was surprised to find the exact same side steps after this long. The only problem I had was getting the old ones off. I would recommend.

Nice and sturdy; however, the bar is not parallel to the body.

Best bang for your buck
I liked that it only took me 30 mins each side or less. The steps them selves however were labeled incorrectly. All of the brackets were labeled correctly. No drilling was required.Well packaged, no scratches or scuffs as expected.
