It has multiple uses. Water filtering,decorative... It's a solid product for the price. I'll use it again. Look at your other options. Go find your own...aaaaand No. Other stuff online is too expensive or you dont get the amount. This one is the best one ive found to date

Stones were really pretty. I spread them over the top of my planters to disrupt any fungus gnats and it did an excellent job of doing just that! I love that fact that there are no chemicals sprayed on them so I didn't even worry about rinsing them off before putting them in my pots. The price does seem a little bit high compared to other pea gravel with similar characteristics.

This is just a warning: 5 lbs of pebbles is not a lot. I ordered these to cover the soil in a flower pot to protect the plants against fungus gnats. The pot is 22" in diameter. When I spread out the pebbles, it turned out there weren't enough to cover all of the soil, let alone create a thick enough layer to fight off the gnats. This is not the seller's fault at all; I simply overestimated the amount of pebbles that would be in a 5 lbs bag. I do find them a little pricey, however, which is why I only gave four stars. It would be nice to get, say, twice the amount for $15. Other than that, these are nice pebbles.

Nice color, I used them in my fishtank with no ill affect and to line the soil of a couple house plants. The pebbles are mostly smooth and dust free.

I purchased this once. Very nice quality small river rock. But the bag was surprisingly small. The next time I needed more, I went to my local landscape supply store for a much better value (lb/$). If you only need a little, and don't want to go out of the house, this Amazon product may make sense for you. I needed about 50 lbs total, so the local store makes more sense for me.

I use them to line the bottom of my planters.Works well, no chemicals!
