NEUTROGENA - Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint, Honey - 1 fl. oz. (30 ml)

Wanted to give one star because of burning sensation and drying my under eye area. Pigment is exactly my skin color and blends well.

I like it

My skin has gotten drier with age and it has been difficult for me to find the right foundation. I have acne-prone, sensitive, combo to dry skin and this looks good on me. I usually prefer BB creams, but the brand I used for several years no longer works for me so I switched to this after a lot of research. I do not wear makeup daily--only once or twice a week.Pros:• Not drying• Lightweight• Natural finish• No breakouts/ skin reactionsCons:• Medium coverage (for dark spots, etc)• Not long-lasting• Difficult to color matchAlthough I have acne scars (not pitted) and visible veins, this covers well enough--I can still see some dark spots. My shade is NC25-30 or #27 (medium) for BB creams, either warm or neutral tones. The shade Honey (#85) in this foundation matches me when I have a slight tan. I was able to shade match by looking at arm swatches online and going in-store (which is pricier) to see the differences in tones through the bottle. It is easy to blend, but I don't like the doe-foot applicator.I apply this by spreading the product on a clean palette, then use a flat brush to pat and blend out on my skin. Occasionally, I'll use a cushion puff to buff out any harsh lines. A little goes a long way, and it will only build up to medium coverage (I recommend color correcting or concealer for dark spots). I always moisturize well before applying and I don't use primer or powder. After several hours, or in a humid climate without powder, it will become a bit dewy (not bad compared to BB creams) but doesn't crease on me.I didn't experience any issues with the package and I would recommend this to someone low maintenance with dry skin, or someone looking for the same things I mentioned.
