I want to clarify something at the start of this review. This dust-showing attachment is not a laser. It is a green LED that shines in a horizontal line in front of the vacuum. You should not expect this to be a bright green laser but rather something similar to a vacuum with a built-in light. The light itself is rather dim and does not shine evenly on the floor. Instead, the beam is brightest near the emitter and quickly falls off as it shines out from that point. It would be most helpful if this kit came with both a left emitting light and a right emitting light so that you could attach one on each side of the cleaner head. Additionally, this attachment limits your range on the vacuum. You cannot get as close to walls as you can without the attachment. When I attempted to vacuum close to walls or chair legs, I would often bump the green button on the side which resulted in the light turning off.That being said, I still enjoy this attachment very much. If you vacuum in low light, the beam will make dust far more visible. It will show any areas you missed on your first pass, and I was surprised at how much dust was left over after I thought my floors were clean. This product may not be perfect and certainly has many flaws, but I have used it almost every day since I bought it and would buy another if it ever stopped working.

With seven cats, floor cleaning never ends. If your stick vacuum doesn't have an LED this attachment is definitely worth considering. This attachment kit comes with parts to mount on two vacuums. Before mounting, you might want take a look at your vacuum head to see if it is going fit and attach. The mounting location must be flat and shaped in a manner that works with this attachment. As recommended, I would mounted the attachment on the side of the vacuum head that would normally be away from the wall while vacuuming. On that side, my vacuum head also had a roller release button that needed to remain accessible (photo). The kit thoughtfully arrives with two alcohol wipes to clean the surface where the light will be attached. The kit also has a supply of adhesives stickers, in case replacements are needed in the future. The instructions highlight the correct placement/ alignment angling of the light with the FLOOR for maximum benefit. As you can see in the photo, my light was attached ever so slightly pitched "up" in the front (blue lines) on my first attempt. Still worked well. You can see dust on the floor in another photo. The attachment is designed to be removed by SLIDING off the mounting panel for recharging. The light is turned on by tapping the white area (the white area is a button). Since very slight pressure on this button is sufficient, I found the light getting turned off when the vacuum bumped into most anything. I did not find that a problem, since another touch with my toe or on another object turns it back on. However, I can imagine some folks might find it frustrating if they tend to bang the vacuum head around a lot. After a week of routine daily use, the battery has not needed a recharge. Slide the light off the mount seems the easiest way to charge it with the USB C connection. This green light seems to reveal more "gunk" than the blue-white LED typically found in stick cordless vacuums and the old-fashion yellow light on corded vacuum heads. On balance, using this kit has made me more enthusiastic towards it than when I picked it out. For those of us obsessed with vacuuming, this light can be very satisfying addition if your vacuum doesn't come with a light.

This little light is super easy to install (it comes with easy to understand installation instructions). It sticks to the side of the floor brush of my Dyson wireless cleaner. The light shines in front of the attachment on the floor. If all of my lights are turned on, I cannot take advantage of this light as it does not show the dust as I was hoping for. However, if I don't turn on ALL of my lights, it works in a dimmer environment. It is easy to turn on and off by a simple push of the button (it is a big button which makes it easy). I am happy with this little light and am surprised how many areas I missed when vacuuming that I didn't realize until now thanks to this little light!

This little vacuum light does what it is supposed to do...which is to help us to find dust and clean. While the light is bright enough, there are two major designs flaws:1) To bright up the floor in front of the vacuum, you have to install this light slightly forward. Meaning the light will hit the wall before vacuum cleaner. As a result, every time I vacuum, the light get into my way. I can't really vacuum the edge between the floor and the wall.2) When vacuuming the side wall, I keep turning it off by mistake because the on/off button is just too big.I don't know if other brands have similiar issue, but this is one gives me more frustration than not using i.

I always wondered if there was more things on the floor than what I was really cleaning up. The vacuum cleaner puts out air and blows things around but you don't know where. See the before the attached green light and after attaching the green light pictures to understand what I am seeing.So when we got this light and attached it to the floor brush, OMG, what a difference.I think I am now cleaning so much more than I knew was on the floor.You can now see everything on the floor and if you make a pass and miss something you can find it.If you make a pass and the air blows the dirt around you can find it and get it.It is like putting glasses on and being able to see what you are cleaning.-It attaches very easily-Easy to reach and push the on/off switch with your foot, no bending down-USB rechargeable, no replacing batteries-Extra sticky pads for the light attachment, after all you are working with dust and this is going to affect the stickiness of the pad (they gave you extra to replace it, very thoughtful)-Instructions were great, easy to follow and even gave advise on the best way to approach corners for cleaning-One year warranty, a QR code to scan to watch a video, their email AND phone number if you need to contact them, that is great customer service and a company that is confident in their product.
