I was actually surprised as how many attachments this came with for vegetable preparation. I would recommend that when you first get it to spend a little time getting to know it. Take an onion, cucumber, some carrots and a cabbage and play around with it just to see what all it can do. It's actually fun to use. It is heavy-duty plastic which is easy to clean and, of course, won't rust. I love the tray that attaches to it to catch the results, which means no mess. When done, everything can just be rinsed off in the sink for easy cleaning. Of course, with anything that slices or dices, keep it away from small children.

This Kitchenvelly Mandolin Style dicer and slicer is perfect for quick meal prep . No more chopping onions by hand . Need super thin cucumber slices? No problem. Need thinly grated cheese? no problem!This comes with two cubing grate inserts, one perfect for diced onions and the other makes larger cubes for home fries etc.The slider inserts help shredding mashing , cuts crinkly even julienned.I think the main plastic housing could be placed on the top tier of the dishwasher but I been doing just fine rinsing everything clean by hand . Everything comes off, all parts can be rinsed.Definitely better than I expected.There are two cube grades and six slicing blades. They and the hand protector all store neatly back into the housing after use and everything stores together , I won’t lose blades anymore.It is important to cut the onions or potatoes small enough so they fit the grade perfectly. But that is just something one will figure out when using this slicer / dicer . Everything is easily assembled and disassembled for hand washing , it’s really a snap to get everything clean and organized . They is a veggie peeler and a egg white separator included too. I like the unisex colors, dark gray and green . The storage container has a strainer insert too. That one holds all the stuff when I am working.Not bad , the grabber ( hand protector) slides fine and grabs deep.Comes boxed for easy gifting , has a good manual.

This veggie chopper is a game changer! It is easy to change blades. It even chopped an onion well for me! The trick is that you may have to cut down pieces of vegetables before you put it in the machine, but if you do they cut smaller almost instantly!It is also super easy to clean!!!

I absolutely love this chopper. It came with more things than I expected. It’s slices, cucumbers, paper, thin. It chops, vegetables, with such ease. This is a fantastic kitchen gadget to have. I would definitely recommend, and this was a great value.
