AWESOME !
I saw videos of people struggling to get the top on, take the string and tie it first, then put the top on and then tighten it.

Could be cute, but is flawed
This *could* be an adorable item, but the flaws prevent me from being satisfied. I didn't realize from the description that I would have to attach the cloth cover and tie. As others have stated, that's nearly impossible because the cloth is cut too small. I put a small amount of super glue around the rim and gently pressed the fabric down to make it work, but getting it centered well and leaving room for the tie was still challenging. There are also some quality issues with the pickle and jar. It would be fine for a white elephant or gag gift, but I would not gift it otherwise.

Sad
This looks great and detailed. My only issue with it was the top. It was hard to get the cloth on the top and tie it down. It should have come with a simple lid to make this easier.

Surprised this exists, but I’m glad!
This was such a random find on Amazon, but I’m so glad I found it. I got this with some friends to hide in another friends room. Who doesn’t want a random sad pickle in a jar to make them laugh in the morning, right?! It was really funny. Little did we know, this random sad pickle would turn into many other random pickle themed gifts. This came in a little box, and it was not put together. The pickle is in the jar, and it doesn’t move, but the “lid” cloth came unattached with a little string you have to tie yourself. This was not super easy. I had to put something on top of the jar to hold the cloth while I wrapped the string around trying to get it perfect, and then I had to tie the little bow. It took me probably 10 minutes. That could be user issue, but I don’t know why this didn’t just come fully assembled. I didn’t take off a star since the whole thing did come together, it just wasn’t ready right out of the box.Overall, highly recommend if you need a laugh and want this cute little sad pickle to be part of your life. Value wise, I don’t really know what pickle gifts should cost, but this one seems fair. It seems well made and I’m happy with it.

Creepy Eyes
If the eyes had been looking in same direction it would have been great! Requested a replacement and returned this one. Praying the next one has good eyes since this is a gift.

Ridiculously Adorable Pickle That’ll Make You Smile (Review is of “anxious” edition)
Who doesn’t feel like an anxious pickle sometimes? This little guy is a bit more “excited” than “anxious,” but he’s still adorable and is a hilarious addition to your desk at work or your home collection of knick-knacks.The pickle himself is contained within a small glass jar that seems reasonably sturdy and well-made. He’s securely mounted to the base with colored epoxy, which gives the appearance that he’s standing in a bit of brine. The top of the jar is sealed with joyful yellow fabric, tied with a small bow.The detailing is well-done, and his facial expression is priceless. I recommend this item as a stocking stuffer or gag gift, or simply as something to make you smile throughout the day. Five stars for being truly ridiculous, yet finely crafted and somehow very lovable.

Some Assembly Required, but Beautifully Well Done
First off, this item doesn't come fully assembled and it takes at least 3 hands to tie that napkin thing on top of it. So unless you have access to at least 3 hands, you might want to stay away. However, since that's a one-time deal and I love this thing so much I'm not going to knock off a star, but I was seriously thinking about it.So let's talk about this thing. It's a depressed pickle in a jar sitting in yellow liquid. I find that extremely amusing. I plan to give this as a gift to someone who will also appreciate it as much as I do. Why is the pickle looking that way? Does he realize that the end is near? Is he saddened by the fact that all his buddies (family?) were chosen before him? What is that yellow liquid, and does it contribute to his depression? One is left to ponder, and that is true art in my opinion. You're either going to love this or hate it, but if you love it, I can vouch for the quality and will gladly recommend it.

I am going to be a pain...
...but one of the reasons I am giving this just three stars is that I just CANNOT tie the cloth on the top of the pickle jar for this GudaAphrmix Grumpy Pickle in a Jar. The piece of cloth is SO SMALL, it's only just large enough to cover the circular lid EXACTLY. I can't get the cloth to stay down and tie it. It is frustrating me no end. It looks completely deranged when I try to tie it on. Why can't the manufacturer just do it? Why do I have to mess it up? Anyway, if you want the cloth lid on, it will take talent and frustration. Is the pickle cute? Um, I chose the grumpy pickle, which is pretty much what I looked like after I wrestled with the cloth lid for fifteen minutes. If you give this as a gift, maybe give it to someone whom you love, but drives you a little bit crazy. Recommended if you need some aggravation, or want to gift some to someone else.
