Good Set, Features I Can Use
I've tried several other types of electronic hearing protection and had mostly given up on them ,opting for traditional types of hearing protection instead. Problems I've had with other brands include bad echo's and reverb, a short pass thru of the loud sound before switching off, lack of basic features, or sensitive and difficult controls. I don't have any of these issues with these EARMOR M20T ear buds. There is zero sound pass through with sudden loud noises, and there is no noticeable delay in normal sounds passing through. Neither have I noticed any echo or reverb in different situations and uses. I do find with a steady loud noise they do not switch off, such as when I'm working near jet engines. The pass through sound may be limited to 85db but I find this too loud when it will be long term exposure. This can be remedied by switching to quiet mode, which is easily done.Sound is adjusted in real time, and I notice an ebb and flow that takes some getting used to. Sound levels decrease and increase, up to the maximum 85db. Softer sounds feel amplified and closer, such as clothes rubbing together, which also takes some getting used to. Sound is in stereo, and direction is easily felt.I like the controls. The squared off ends make it easy to find the button. And it's a real button that can be felt, with a click for positive feedback. I have a different set of earbuds that are rounded and smooth, with touch sensitive control. I need to feel around to find the right spot to touch and then it's going through different functions I do not want. No such problem with these.I've made phone calls on the freeway while in my Jeep (noisy cabin). The listener said the audio was better with my Jeep's UConnect but still useable and understandable. I also made a phone call while working the ramp at the airport. I thought it would be impossible for the listener to hear or understand me. There was a 737 approaching the gate, other aircraft taxiing, ground equipment and a loudspeaker making announcements. The listener said there was plenty of background noise but still easily understood me.I do wish the charging case was sleeker and rounder. I find it large and bulky, and its rectangular shape makes it a poor fit to carry with you in a pocket. I am glad it has the lanyard, a small but convenient feature to let them hang around your neck when not in use, but readily available.

Sudden noise hearing protection
These work really well as long as you have it in the right modes. The main issue for me is the small delay on the buttons to changing the modes. The case is a bit bulky and awkward to open. As for the audio quality it is not very good, but for what these are meant for - they do their job well at a decent price compared to others.

Great hearing protection with minor flaws
Pretty good, I have had some issues with them working their way out of my ear, the snap on parts had been somewhat flattened so when I installed them I think that is causing the issue. They also stick out quite a bit so I can not use these when shooting at an indoor range because ear muffs wont fit over them. You also get more looks in the store while wearing these since they do stick out.

They don't work as described
Not very protective, I wore these twice thinking this is my answer to the ear muffs, I was wrong, took the the indoor range and left with the biggest headache I've ever had, I tried the different modes during shooting, none of them kept the sound out, the instructions are very basic and doesn't explain anything, I looked and they have an app in development but its written in Chinese, if I'm missing something that makes these work better there's not one thing that tells anything about it, I would return these but its past the returning time frame, I'll try and sell them on Facebook or something

Why didn't I buy these earlier?
It's rare that I think to myself, "I should have had these all my life", but the M20T does that for me. You can be at the range, have all shots muffled, but still carry on a conversation. When a shot is fired, the mic is muffled, so conversations aren't perfect, but they're better than the alternative with muffs on or ear pro in.Bluetooth works great for having some music or receiving calls. I even think it amplifies sound while you're in a quiet environment. For that, it could have bonus points for hunters trying to hear animals around them.Overall, this is a 10 star item and I'm really excited about them. I only hope they hold up over time, since they're that awesome! They come with foam and rubber ear inserts with 3 different size rubber inserts for all ear sizes. Really a comprehensive package.

Great for hearing protection.
These are great to block out loud nosies when you need it. These ear buds are small but powerful. Their power is not making noises louder but instead blocking out all the noises of the world around you, and they do that job amazingly. The ear buds are small and comfortable for me to wear and I really don't like having things in my ears. They are good at blocking out the sounds you don't want toe hear, like loud generators or air compressors. Even though they are blocking out the loud sounds you can adjust them to just hear the voices around you. These are great to wear the whole day at work andstill be able to hear enough to get the job done.

Decent Ear Protection, But Lacking True Noise Cancellation
These ear protection earplugs function like standard earplugs, but with electronic noise control. I initially expected them to work more like Sony’s Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology, but that’s not the case. Instead of fully canceling out noise, they simply reduce the decibel level. In other words, unless the noise is already pretty loud, you might not notice much of a difference—unlike Bluetooth options with true ANC.No matter which mode you use, you can still hear your surroundings, sometimes even more amplified. All the modes felt pretty similar, especially in terms of noise cancellation (or lack thereof). The audio quality isn’t great either, so I wouldn’t recommend these for music or phone calls—it has a bit of a static, muffled sound. For basic ear protection at the range, they’re decent, but not particularly impressive—especially compared to over-ear options. You can use them with or without a phone connection, but there aren’t any special manual controls to adjust settings. Overall, they’re okay for the range, but I’d personally reach for other options I already own.
