Fireworks, Freehand and Flash f/x and Design

I use Flash,Freehand & Fireworks and had bought the author's book on Fireworks - from which I learnt a lot. I was hoping this book would help me to integrate work from Freehand into Flash. Butin the Flash section the author says that she is not concerned with animation in Flash, but ActionScript. Like a lot of Flash animators I useActionScript in Flash animations so I was uncomfortable with that. For people new to ActionScript the treatment in this book could be offputting. Her tone is pedantic. I was not inspired by the projects in the book - a vintage jukebox and a jigsaw puzzle. In the Freehand section she does give a clear account of the perspective tool and seems to appreciate its potential for Flash. But as she is only using it for text animation I feel she missed an opportunity here. Her main love is Fireworks and I already have her excellent bookon that. But I was disppointed with this one.
