This is my first experience with "cooling towels", and gotta say, it's pretty awesome. I have dysfunction in my body's ability to regulate temperature, so I overheat very easily. It's pretty miserable. My previous experience with using a wet towel to try to cool down has been disappointing. Within a few minutes, the heat from my skin makes the cool wet towel into a warm wet towel, which doesn't help.With these towels, even using *room temperature* water still gives me a cooling effect! And the cooling effect lasts! The material is super thin, thin enough that I can easily look through it and identify things, and -almost- read (large) words on my laptop. So it's not at all suffocating like a regular towel gets, and it just keeps making me feel cooler. I have no idea what the science is behind this, but it feels like magic to me.I love that they are different colors, each with its own carrying pouch and carabiner. One lives in my purse, and one at home, and I have two others that can rotate in as I launder things.I'd like to see if there are some that have a larger width, because while these are good for face or neck, it would be great to have a bigger one that I could wrap around like a shawl.At $10 for four (and right now there's a 25% off coupon), I think these are incredibly priced, excellent value, and definitely recommend them.

This towel is long and lightweight. How this towel works to cool you off is that you wet this towel so that your skin gets wet. As the water evaporates from your skin, this cools you off. The towel itself is not the cooling agent. You can cool yourself with a regular wet towel too. However, a regular wet towel is bulky and heavy when wet. The reason why you would want to buy this towel is that this towel still feels light even when wet. So having one of these towel when your outside hiking or waiting in the sun is great. It's not really helpfully to use it inside a house because you need the wind or sun to help evaporate the water off your skin to help chill you down. This works and I would recommend it.

A fellow vendor suggested using a cooling towel at events, so I got these towels. They don’t stay cool for too long in the Texas heat, but they definitely offer some relief.

I got these for my FIL who complains about getting too hot when he is doing yard work! I also got some for my husband for golfing or anything else! They work well! They stay cool for a good amount of time! Good quality!! Definitely recommend for any outdoor activity person!!

I've been hooked on these porous towels ever since I bought my first batch at Costco. I like these Hemndic towels because they're a bit longer than the others. I play hardcore tennis and pickleball almost everyday. I have many uses for these towels. One to tie around as a headband so my sweat doesn't go down my eyes with the sunblock that I put on my face. Yeah, you know that stings. It absorbs wetness fast and dries rather quickly. Great for wiping my sweat in between points or sets. If it's really hot out, I pour cold water onto it and just let it hang on the back of my neck so I don't get heat exhaustion. Also, these doesn't take much space in your gear bag, and are much lighter than regular towels.

This cooling towels set is only about half price of some others, however the quality feels just as good, if not better. The towel material is the common quick-dry, holed synthetic material, works well for gym / hiking, and the bags coming with it are ok (but I prefer the bottle shaped ones, easier to fit in after wet). Recommended for a good deal.

I ordered these because it's still pretty warm where I live. Also, I am in the gym at least 5 days a week. I tend to get hot and overheat easily. I also sweat more than I'd like to in the gym. I ordered these thinking they would be perfect for when I'm outside, in the gym, or even in the house cleaning. I figured they would be good to keep me cool and also potentially soak up some sweat or at least wipe it off. Well, unfortunately I was disappointed in these towels. I wouldn't even call these towels. The material is very thin and they are long. I would compare them to the size of your average scarf. When I tried out my towel, I had to look up the directions on line because there was absolutely nothing in the package except for the product itself. I followed the instructions I found exactly, and the towel got cool from the water, but I didn't notice any drop in temperature change whatsoever. It didn't get any cooler. I wore it around my neck for 60 mins and checked it in 10 min intervals. It never got any colder, even after getting it wet again and shaking it. I even put it in the freezer at 40 mins and it was cooler for 2 mins., then went back to the same temp it was prior to the freezer. It was not absorbent and wasn't good for wiping sweat up either. Basically, it's just like getting your average hand towel wet in cold water and wrapping it around your neck. Only the hand towel would absorb sweat. I would not recommend these towels for anything other than possibly using them for a small child or animal as a cool compress for a very short period of time.To note: When the package arrived, I opened the box and there were 4 individually packaged towels in tough plastic zip lock type bags. Each carrying bag has a carabean clip on it so you can conveniently clip it to your workout bag or your belt loop. However, you must carry a bottle of water with you everywhere you go if you want to properly attempt to use these towels and hope for the best.
