This may be my favorite primer. Makes your skin look smooth and even; feels like silk on your skin. And it makes makeup application easier and better

Recently, I discovered(and when I say recently, I mean like four months ago) the thanked me later under eye brightener plus primer in the shade fair and OMG it has changed my life because since reaching 44 I am on a forever hunt to find any and all skin care makeup primer, etc. that go into my daily routine that do not make my makeup look thick therefore accentuating my wrinkles and let me tell you it’s a lot harder than it looks so my reviews on that page about that primer, but it’s not just a primer it can definitely be worn on its own, but since trying that, I then was definitely eyeballing the mature skin blurring primer since I’m now technically, mature skin however I started to look at this one and since I’m already a huge fan of the elf brand, jelly pop primer, and the elf brand gripping primer I thought this might be something similar or maybe something completely different and that would be honestly better because neither one of those worked for me as far as getting me to a point where I wanna be with my make up and I when I mean is, I’ve moved my foundation to a very light serum foundation of whittle down my skin care. Everything must be thin, therefore not cakey looking, etc. So even though I went on a research hunt and delve all into the mature skin primer already set to go to get that one when I finally got on here I ended up going for the glass skin primer. O OMG I am so glad I did because wow this is so different than anything I could’ve expected and it is nothing like the elf primers. Firstly, it’s much much thinner. It applies to your skin and if you let it sit down, which for me is not 20 seconds I let it sit down for a whole 30 seconds to a minute I think that’s proper and it gives you a full lay down and then you left with a non-sticky gel film over your face that is so paper thin and microscopic. it is almost undeniably futuristic looking because normally to get that sort of glow with a gel you’re gonna be left with a thick layer, but not in this case. you left with a non-sticky gel film over your face that is so paper thin and microscopic. it is almost undeniably futuristic looking because normally to get that sort of glow with a gel you’re gonna be left with a thick layer, but not in this case. this stuff is mind blowing revolutionary, and I am in no way being paid or received a free product or any of that stuff that would make me be at a point where I would say this and just be saying it to say it like I’m being paid for it because I’m not I got it on here on my own just like I did with their eye primer because every product I seem to drive from these folks is so mind blowing we good I cannot express my true feelings about it without making eight paragraphs! So if you are middle-aged like in the 40+ age group or even 35+, then you should definitely try this. This is unlike anything else on the market. It truly feels like high-end luxury skin care, but at an amazing price both the products I’ve mentioned are out of this world amazing and if used properly as instructed that is, they are unlike anything else on the market for instance, when I say that I mean, like the eye primer I mentioned it needs to be applied on and then let to sit down for about 30 seconds before dabbing it in so that it applies a little more pigmented and when you do that, if you are someone who suffers from what looks like under eye bags, but it’s actually just dips or creases under your eyes like like instead of puffy under her eye bags it’s instead of those little hollows, then this right here that product is going to blow your mind because it will make it to where you don’t have to wear any concealer on any part of your eye you just put some of that on there it brightens that hollow right up and makes it look risen up and flush with the face and then you don’t even need any makeup in that area you can move on to foundation or whatever and then that’s where this falls in because this primer is so amazing. You can even use it under your eyes. It is so thin. It’s safe to use everywhere on your face. It will make your makeup adhere and not move it moisturize your face and doesn’t make it feel tight or gross, but it’s also non-greasy it dry completely. It leaves your skin, so glassy and supple, but not at all greasy that you would not even believe it without trying it. I guarantee you I cannot name one person that is dry skin or oily skin that would not enjoy the look that this stuff gives because unlike other glass skin primers that I’ve tried wearing they had a ton of glitter which I don’t want or it’s gel and it’s thick and it’s sticky and then it’s just a mess and I hate that stuff. This is thin the thinnest thin layer on your face the most beautiful natural quote. I’ve got super healthy skin and drink 18 glasses of water a day“ skin and then you apply makeup over that. It’s like applying makeup to 20-year-old skin again perfection absolute perfection. I cannot wait to discover and try more products from the line. I do intend to still try out the other primer I was looking at before the mature skin blurring primer, because I am looking to fill my lines and wrinkles with something prior to putting this on and let it dry down and all those are usually good for that. I was using the TARTE timeless, smoothing primer, however, even the travel size has gone up to almost $50 so, no thank you! Besides all of that, if you are looking for a primer just to give you the most plump juicy non-greasy magnificent hey I’m only 20 years old skin… Please this stuff is under $20. Just try it. You will think you went down to Cle de peau and grab some $300 primer and that’s what you’re wearing because it feels that magnificent looks that magnificent and you’ll get so many compliments!!!!!

I have super sensitive ultra mega fair skin, and by that I mean I could have been an extra in the Twilight films without needing any makeup. I also have mild rosacea and a sun allergy (PMLE) that leave my face red year-round. I saw this item on one of those Buzzfeed "items you can't live without" articles and after reading reviews decided to give it a try. This is only the second redness reducing green primer that I have tried, but overall I'm pretty impressed. The cream is quite thick out of the tube, but it spreads smoothly and does dry down pretty light. The coverage is great - not perfect, but pretty darn good for the amount of redness around my face. It also does leave my face quite shiny after application which I don't like, but I usually just put a light setting powder on over it to mattify. It is also worth noting that even though it says that it "adjusts to your skin tone" it is still not light enough for us super pale gals. While it doesn't leave us full blown orange (thank the Gods, no one wants to look like Trump) it still dries down a few shades too dark. It's not idyllic, but I've found that if I really blend it into my hairline and down my neck it's A LOT less noticeable and have even had people simply mistake it for a tan. So, all in all, pretty darn good coverage, though it leaves skin shiny and is a bit too dark for super fair skin, but those can both be worked around. At the end of the day I would recommend this primer for those with rosacea and super sensitive skin.

It's not a bad product, but it's not great either. It's very thin and watery, and it leaves almost a cloudy grayish green look to your skin. Almost like you're not feeling well. It's a little too watery to be mixed with regular concealer, a cream or a more thick consistency would work better. It can be used, but it's supposed to be a base for your make up, and it really does not work well for that. Even letting it sit for five minutes, and then trying to put make up on top of it, it actually produced streaks of color due to the silicone and the color beads inside of it. I've never seen that before, so I had to ask AI. I'll use the tube and find some way to mix it with something, but I wouldn't buy it again.

I am a makeup addict, a makeup junkie I own almost every primer from drugstore to name brand every different type from Matt to aluminizing to gripping you name it. I have it. My husband actually says I need a closet just for my skin prep and skin care and makeup routine this product is amazing. I’ve tried their eye primer in the past, but unfortunately, I did not like the eye primer, but most recently I saw a video for the poorest blurring primer, and I decided to give it a try and just patch testing in on the back of my hand blew me out of the water it definitely blurs and it definitely modifies. I have worn it with a full face of skin prep and makeup. It layers well and plays well with other serums and lotions as well as foundation, and it does not pill. This is hands-down the best primer it keeps your makeup locked in fresh looking poor blurred out modifying effect this is definitely a great primer at a great price.

As someone with rosacea, this product is amazing!!! It goes on so silky, I LOVE putting it on! Can't live without this now, it's a definite constant in my subscribe and save items. If you have redness, you will love this product

Throughout my lifetime both as a consumer and a professional MUA, I have used many a face primer. From the very high end, to drug store and everything in between, I’ve experienced them all. The Elizabeth Mott primer in Illuminating is one of the best I have experienced. It’s not glittery, leaves just enough of a glow that it’s not overtly noticeable like a highlighter, smells fresh like skincare and not chemicals, and best of all actually works well. I personally have a combination skin type that can get oily but also dry and flaky; the Illuminating primer works very well in hydrating and evening the skin, leaving the face looking fresh and youthful and does not emphasize any dryness or fine lines. This is a very well rounded and versatile primer for many.

Keeps my makeup in place for a good 8 hours. I get a really oily T-zone so I use this in conjunction with powder and finishing spray as well then blot throughout the day. It works better than the Inisfree sebum control primer for me. I really like the texture on my skin its very soft and light and creates a nice base for makeup. I mainly use this for stage makeup, it seems to hold up well even under spotlight.

This was supposed to be a “skin friendly product” and got it after reading all the good reviews.I used this for a few days and my face broke out, wasn’t sure if it was because of this. I stopped using it for a week or so and my face calmed down. Then tried using it again and now my face is a complete mess, pimples and whiteheads everywhere.
