Great product, heats more quickly than I was thinking. I make coffee and pour it into the travel kettle and drive to various appointments sometimes, then when I want some hot coffee I simply plug in and heat for a few minutes to about 170-180 and pour the coffee into my yeti mug. I keep my coffee, kettle, cord, water, and mug in a kit bag, very convenient.

As someone who travels frequently this has become a staple! I was looking for ways to save a few dollars and as an avid cocoa drinker this allows me to buy packets or jars of cocoa powder and make my own- in the car, at the hotel, or even at work. I have an adapter that I can use to plug in a car adapter if I don’t have one available. You pour water into the canister up to the max line or the amount you need, click the temperature and the start button. It also has a stirring feature and you can mix items within the canister itself. That’s good to use if you can wash or rinse it after use. With three buttons it’s easy to use and it beeps when ready! It has a medium noise level but, it’s not obnoxious. Super functional! Also, perfect if I’m on a longish trip with the kids and they are “starving” I can warm water to make cup noodles, instant Mac n cheese, or mashed potatoes ( honestly there’s many ready to eat, just add hot water snacks and meals that the list is long). Perfect for sidelines during fall and winter sports. It’s easy to clean and is small enough to pack in a bag without having to sacrifice much space. I’m considering purchasing a second one as a backup because my family uses it often it is definitely worth the price.

Works well. Heats up relatively fast. The stirrer whirls strongly. If it had an opening on the cap for drinking, that would be perfect. A few weeks later, it fell out of the side pocket of my backpack at waist height. It shattered! The wires & circuit board were exposed. That was the end of that.

Super convenient on road trips. Saves a ton of money on food and drinks! Holds enough to make both kids a cup of noodles or tea at the same time, or one big cup of coffee. It fits in the car's cup holder and accurately heats to temperature in about 15 minutes. Doesn't wear down the car's battery. Hasn't broken yet. Good price.

Update 7-16-25 Let me start by saying the seller is 5 star. Their handling of this was above and beyond whatnwas expected. I’ve added a star because I believe the seller has confidence in this product and mine was the exception rather than the rule. At first this product worked great. It heated about 12 oz of water to 190 in less than 15 min. About a month in the only button the worked every time was stir. I couldn’t set the temp any more and it was a struggle to get it to boil. The seller asked for pics and offered to help any way possible. Amazon would say pics were either too big or a non supported format. After about 2 weeks of dealing with it I decided just to toss it in the trash. I feel they could last a while but this one was always in class 8 truck cup holder and did bounce to the floor a few times when hitting pot holes. I just wish it would’ve held up.

I love this car kettle. It heats very fast. It only uses 100 watts, which is really about all you can pull from a car battery, but does not wear down my battery. With that being said, this thing heats up quick while using very little power. It does not wear down my car battery, but i also have a new battery. My larger travel kettle that uses only ac power pulls over 500 watts, and my glass electric kettle uses 1100 watts. Also, the power cord is strategically placed towards the top of the kettle rather than the bottom, so you can set it in a cup holder in your car so that it doesn't tip over, and the inlet is covered by the silicone strap to prevent drips from getting in there. The stirrer is also nice. Never immerse or rinse the outside of these things. Wipe the outside with a damp cloth. I would like to add that the seller is very responsive, is honest and trustworthy and stands behind their product.

Used this on a cross country road trip and found it invaluable for making tea and coffee on the road, hydrating freeze-dried backpacker meals, and keeping the occasional store-bought coffee warm. Three things to bear in mind: 1. It will take a while to boil water given the level of power available via a car outlet. 2. The outside of the container can get uncomfortably warm to the touch if you heat water all the way to boiling, so maybe test touch it when it’s done heating and use something as a pot holder if it’s uncomfortably hot. 3. It’s important to read all the instructions on this listing and maybe keep a printout with the kettle, as the instructions are a little jumbled and not 100% intuitive. That said, it worked great and made the trip so much more pleasant and comfortable. My travel companion kept the original kettle as she had further to go after dropping me off, and I’m back now to buy a second one for myself. So grateful this little contraption exists! 🙂

Worked for some time, now it is leaking after less than a couple of of months 😭
