 This was used by my 19 year old son during a trip to the North Carolina beaches. This board exceeded every expectation of his - given that he had always used boards from department stores or what was sold at the beach shops. The board clearly costs more than our previous boards - and it certainly outperforms the other boards. We bought the 51 inch (160 to 210 lbs) and he weighs 200 lbs. He did note that the fiberglass/carbon fiber probably weighed less than the other boards - which i guess were made from compressed board - 'heavy'. The previous boards were much smaller than this - again, they weighed more. He would buy the board again - no regrets. Handling, durability, board construction, and weight - all positive. We also bought "PUNT SURF Ripper Skimboard Traction Pad & Arch Bar - 3 Piece Stomp Pad and Raised Arch Bar for Skimboarding with Best 3M Adhesive for Ultimate Grip". This provided the traction needed on the surface of the board.Video added.

We used the board for 4 days on the Galveston coast. Gentle surf. Pretty clean sand. No rocks, etc. While the board preformed well, the one tip is already cracking. Maybe we just got a bad board. Or maybe there is a problem with these boards. I would not buy this board again.

I'm only an intermediate skimboarding. After a few days of use the board had large scratches in it . It is very soft. After a few weeks use it had a few large gouge all the way down to the fiberglass. It's definitely a ton of fun but it looks like it will need constant repair the gel coat or paint is very soft.

would love it if it didnt come with a scrape and chipped underside. After 2 days of use by an 80lb boy, virtually useless - bottom peeling, cracks, etc BUYER BEWARE - dont waste your money. Will not hold up by sild use on a regular beach. This is after used on sand.

Only had this board for less than a month & it’s already falling apart. At first it was great but 3 weeks after using it the board is separating.Don’t waste your money..not worth$160😡

Exactly what you would expect for a board of this quality. Follow the guide lines on weight and you will do well. It performs great and has a surpassingly durable gel coat. It survived an entire season of skim boarding on the outer banks. We live at the beach so it had over 90 days of.use this year. Most boards would not survive 3 months of this without some touch up.

Kids loved it. Great skimboard. Super lightweight and maneuverable. They could skim a long way and do tricks quickly with this.

My son loves the board. He is 11 and 80 lbs. and it should last him a few years of use. Size is good and light enough for tossing and riding into waves.
