Fits the old Moen Monticello non-positemp control
If you're like me and your how has Moen Monticello controls for the shower and bath ~and~ your house is about 20+ years old, your controls are starting to get a bit stiff and leaky. Both of mine needed replacement. This long ago, Moen made the whole thing from metal. Which sounds like a great quality idea, until you remember it's in the moist environment of a shower or bath. The inside of the hub were corroded so much that I had to use a saw to cut the handle to pieces to get to the the screw that holds the handle to the cartridge. It was not easy.Once the old one was off, this hub replaced fit it perfectly. The plastic parts should not corrode like the older parts did. So I think I'm good for another 25 years.
