As described and they work fine. The one thing is they are in a fixed position. Didnt fit me perfectly, but was in a usable range. I can imagine it being uncomfortable for some.Also, I havent used these as of yet. Im not sure how much noise is actually reduced and whether I would use it for firing range type activity.

These ear plugs are advertised as ideal for the shooting range. Firearms produce a high dB level. I have found that most professionals would recommend an NRR of 28 dB or higher for shooting activities.I will use these for lesser dB producing activities.MY PERSONAL COMMENTS:I am an approved Amazon Vine Member. The banded ear plugs are great when I'm working in the yard and need to dampen the sound of the yard tools. I usually have gloves on and putting these in my ear canals with the gloves is easy. I use to use foam ear plugs but I would have to take my gloves off and then fit the plugs in my ear. It's fairly comfortable but I don't have it on for extended periods of time. Just long enough to do my tasks.

These are real handy to have when you need to put hearing protection on & off frequently. Fit / Tension seems about right for my use. Can't comment on the actual NRR but they appear to reduce string trimmer engine noise adequately. When I am using hearing protection for extended periods, I still go with plugs or muffs.

I have full sized hearing protectors which work fine but are quite bulky. These reusable, washable ones, are a better choice for me whether it is used with a leaf blower, at the range or even just for some quiet time. There are 4 pairs. They are banded, (stays around my neck when not in use), and are individually wrapped so they stay clean until you actually use them. They are listed as having NRR of 23 dB, while having an SNR of 25 db. As they are silicone, they are pretty soft and conform easily to the ear canal while still being comfortable.These provide good hearing protection and noise reduction.I would recommend them.
