Metallica Ninja Star Vinyl Decal Sticker - Shiny Chrome

Love Love Love!Arrived way faster than stated and in great packaging.I bought 2 sizes of the chrome colored. Bought 2 to put on either side of rear license plate (of which I also purchased a Metallica Ninja Star license plate frame) and one to put on my gas tank cover.I am VERY happy with the outcome.I’ve had decals on prior vehicles so I know prep work is VITAL. You want to do in middle of day so your vehicle is hot. You don’t want to apply early or late and then have that drastic temp change which will effect the decal as the temp of the window or other part of car heats up in the sun or cools down at night.I thoroughly cleaned the window and rear car panel, using window cleaner that contains vinegar. (Dollar store sells it). Then I used a paper towel to completly dry it, then a clean microfiber cloth to remove any small particles left from cleaning. I cut off excess covering and backing, still leaving a square shape for easy peeling during application. Measured spacing to ensure semetrical placement on both sides of my license plate. Very carefully peeled off the back. Slow and steady to ensure that decal sticks to the front. Start on the bottom, very slightly curving the whole decal, so only what your touching with your finger goes on a vehicle. Use a bank card or other card to SLOWLY press upwards. This will minimize bubbling. Press firmly and steadily. Once done slowly peel off the front cover from the top. If you see bubbling, lay the cover back down and press again with the card. Repeat. As you slowly peel and don’t see bubbles you can proceed to completely peel off the front cover.The chrome colored ones look great. Have a mirrored effect.(It will only allow me to add one photo in this review. Will try to add more.)

I love my metalica ninja star decal, is so cool, the bad thing is that is so thin so careful when you take of the backing sheet..... and the color does not stand out much and it is metalic, I love The color but probably since I placed a a7x deathbat and that decal kills it, I think because is solid white, but is OK, that way I don't look like a crazy wanna be with stickers all over, haha, it does come with istructions, I did not put water tu place the decal, but that what the istructions said.. so it's up to you, for me it was really easy to place... I will share photos so you can see how awesome it is...

So I have been searching the net for a decent Metallica decal and I went with this one because I thought the shiny chrome would look good on my car. Well first off if you have never applied a decal and not sure what to do then you're out of luck with this product, because it comes with no instructions whatsoever as to how to prepare the decal before applying (i.e. removing air bubbles, preparing it on a flat surface, etc.). I'm not sure if it's because the decal shape itself is too pointy or something but the problem I have with this decal is that the ends of it started to peel off the car and were rather flimsy. So I had to shave of a bit on the ends to avoid the rest of it peeling off. I applied another decal at the same time by another company ($6.99 total) and I have no qualms whatsoever with it, in fact I love it. But you can definitely notice the difference in quality between the two decals.Overall, it looks cool but it does look a bit flimsy :( Then again your only paying about $5 for the decal w/ S&H so in conclusion you get what you pay for.

I have to follow up after purchasing over 2 years ago. This decal has braved the elements every single day and remains just as shiny, without a single missing piece. Which is impressive considering the small details and fine points of the metallica star design, especially in the center of the M's. GREAT PRODUCT! I have repurchased, and have recommended this many times over.

I initially had gotten 2 red ones for my 2008 black Dodge Avenger, then pin striped it red and put black and red rims on it.It looked pretty metal. lol. But seriously, they're worth the price, I've now gotten 2 of the mirror/chrome ones for my new 2013 Dodge Avenger and got chrome rims, n now working on a mirror/chrome pin stripes, I love the way it looks, and adding a Metallica accent to it makes that much more bad ass.

I ordered this for my boyfriend, who is a huge Metallica fan. These came packaged very nicely, were just what I was expecting, came with step by step instructions and were exceptionally easy to apply. I highly recommend this item. :)
