Fast paced word game
If you and your family enjoy words games this is another to add to your collection. It’s fast paced, no time to ponder over which word you select to use. The rules of the game are a little confusing but we stumbled by somehow, with time I think we will be able to iron out the difficulties. Recommended for ages 7 years and up but that doesn’t mean that it is easy. Can played with 2,3 or 4 players. Another decent word game to play with but what concerns me is the quality of materials used in manufacture and the general packaging which make me think it not as durable or long lasting as I would like. The outer zipped bag is made of felt like material but it is quite stiff and firm and to be fair does look long lasting but liable to get dirty looking. The letters arrive in 4 individual plastic bags which have a sticky seal, I think they will need to be transferred into 4 durable zip lock bags to ensure no letters go missing. What disappoints me is the actual pea pods are made of card which after a bit a rough handling by younger children are sure to look tatty and start to fall apart. The instructions come on a sheet of A4 paper which looks like it’s been run off an ink jet printer which makes it feel cheap when the price isn’t.

Fun game but only ok
Pass the Peas is a word game that does work for all ages from about seven. The game includes 180 letter tiles, with 4 pea pods to hold the tiles, and a sand timer. The pe pods are pretty cheap and seems like they won't stand up to much use but for now they do the job.Pass the Peas is easy to learn as it isn't a very complex game which is good in many ways but does mean that older children get bored of it fairly eaisly. The game's compact which makes it very portable and convenient for travel or taking to grandparents etc.It does mean children can enhance their vocabulary, spelling etc which I did like. Overall though, not a classic for me.

A fun game for children 6+
This is a fun word game. There are lots of different options for playing the game but essentially it involves making a word with 10 letter tiles before 'passing the peas' Then you pass your word and see if you can edit the word the other player has made by adding/changing a letter before scoring. The pea pods are only made from laminated cardboard but the tiles are good quality and they come in a nice zippy pea pod bag for easy storage. There is also a 15 second sand timer. Overall a simple but fun game. Good value for £13.99

Fun game after a few plays
Took a little while to get to grips with the rules as the instructions weren't 100% clear, but once it clicks, it's a fun game.A couple of things would improve the overall experience - more robust packaging or pea pods - because the bag is fabric my pods were all bent.4 blind bags for picking the letters - you need to randomly pick upto10 letters each round so this would be easier from a little solid fabric bag for each person, not the see through zip lock ones. It's a fun education game to play as a family though and does get you thinking and using your brain to spell and change simple words.
