Cherrybrook Kitchen Gluten Free Sugar Cookie Mix, 13 Ounce

Love, this cookie mix!! I use this for all my holiday baking! I have seen reviews where others have commented that the dough does not roll out for cut out cookies - this is true if you follow recipe and add vegan butter melted! I have a trick to add the vegan butter ( earth's balance stick type) not melted. I leave the vegan stick butter out of refrig until a little softened but not room temp. cut into pats and knead dough by hand, then add remaining ingredient, wrap in wax paper and refrigerate for hour. Take dough for 10- 15 minutes and form into balls and roll out. Of course you will need to add flour to keep rolling pin from sticking to dough or sometimes I use cold dough between two sheets of wax paper to roll out. Cookies do not need to bake typically more that 8-10 minutes, they may look not quite done, but take them out - as GF cools it gets harder than wheat cookie dough.I also, add spices used for gingerbread cookies in this mix to make gingerbread cookies...I typically add half of the spices than a regular recipe would call for because we like a softer gingerbread flavor...you may need to experiment yourself to gage what your personal preference is!

Very vanilla but too much sugar! Very very sweet. I don't like things this sweet.

I received a NOT gluten free version. I was not able to return the item or get a refund. I understand issues happen, but there should be an option to make it right when eating it will make you sick.

This is wonderful! Makes up really great. My daughters class was decorating cookies and she has allergies. So I made these for the whole class so she could participate and they loved them. Teacher asked me to make them again for Christmas. Dough is a bit sticky - but they cook up fine.

Finally, a GF, vegan box cookie mix that doesnt taste awful! I wish we could find it in stores easily, but we love the product so are happy to find it here on amazon.
