Managed to fix my blinds without replacing them
I am not mechanically minded but replacing the parts with new ones was straightforward and easy. The mechanism is smooth and buying these saved me a lot of money.

Pull cord very short
I paid an additional amount for the chrome chain. This is so short that I have to stand on a chair to open and close the blind! Going to have to buy an additional long chain now. Had to buy some additional rods as well as only 4 supplied. No instructions on how to use the tape and also not enough tape for my 6 rod pockets. No rings supplied so had to purchase them separately. The extra purchases made this an expensive blind kit!

Not for novices.
Item was perfectly useable, however dont buy this if you are new to making roman blinds as there are no instructions on how to space or use the tape. The only instructions included are for shortening and erecting the rail and they are so over photocopied they are hard to read. However if you know what you're doing then the product is good.
