Too weak...
The springs I received looked correct but they are not the right tension as they are much too weak. As such, they made my mower engine speed lope up and down. Judging by the ratings , many buyers got good product but I did not. Next time I will stick with an OEM B&S replacement spring to be certain. One good part for the same money is much better and several that are defective.

Spring tension is too weak. They do not work.
These are cheap after market governor springs that do not work.They have very little spring tension.Save your money and purchase OEM instead.

Not exact match
Wire that it is made from is not as thick as original, causing it to be useless for this application. Didn't operate governor correctly, rpm constantly going between idle and high speed. Is shaped correctly, but wire guage too small.
