I've used this camera for over a year now. It has been sitting on my truck windshield through freezing -20F weather and through +90F weather. It has never failed in anyway. The 30 second feature is awesome and I use it a lot on this camera. The field of view is great and covers my windshield end to end.I will be buying a Marcus 5 with rear camera soon. This one is going in my car.

Worked well. Died after 7 days of use. Either defective unit, or it cannot withstand the advertised storage temperatures.Video quality is decent. Go Pro session records in higher quality.

I researched dash cams for quite a while before finally deciding on this one due to build quality and overal better performance. So far I'm quite happy. At the start the firmware wasn't producing the best images but there have been a few updates in the short time I've owned it and it's much better. Not quite to the level I was expecting but better than most and I'm confident Vicovation will get things tweaked just right before long. Recommend

I own a Gumball Muvi dash cam and bought this thinking it might be a better quality video because of the HD and 2304x1296. The quality on my Gumball Muvi was much better and also I can zoom in and out to get a closer look. I'd return it but waited a bit to long. DISAPPOINTED!

Great product.

Poor quality. Bought in August 2014 and it only lasted for five months and then stopped working. Video quality was poor and could not capture details such as license plate numbers. Owner's guide was poorly written, disorganized, and hard to understand what it was trying to say. Not worth the money. Would not recommend.

Fantastic camera, super clear both day or night in 1296p. Only problem that I ran into is learning not to press the panic, while its in the middle of backing up a file. Doing so broke the sd card's recycle function, so it stopped recording once the card was full. After reformatting the card, it works like a charm.

Overall great camera. 60fps mode looks great! Firmware is updated frequently. If you're planning on getting the CPL filter for the quick release mount, you don't necessarily have to buy the Vico branded one. There's cheaper ones on Amazon that will fit and work just the same, especially considering this isn't a camera that should/would require a super expensive filter.My one complaint is that the SD card slot is not spring loaded so removing the card is difficult especially if you have bigger hands. I've had to use tweezers the couple times I've had to remove the card. The good news is that the camera itself will act as a card reader if connected over USB to a computer, so you may potentially never have to remove the card from the camera.
