Best Value Anywhere for 5% Minoxidil
Just received this yesterday, but want to encourage people to purchase through here, it is more than $3/can less expensive than others available locally, and online. I had four surgeries last year, which caused quite a bit of hair loss; instead of waiting to see if it grows back now that I'm healing, a friend recommended Minoxidil, which she has used for her hair loss. I started last night and will post back here in a few months, to review results. At this point, though, if you are going to try it, compare prices, this can't be beat!

Foam is nice; Research Possible Side Effects
I appreciate that they included Biotin in the product. Many of us are taking Biotin anyway, so adding the vitamin into the product may save time and money if you choose to eliminate the oral version.FOAM: the foam is nice, but if your hair loss is still minimal, it will be hard to miss your hair and put it only on your scalp. You'll also want to make sure you have time to cool your hands--the foam melts fast. If your hands are too warm, it will dissipate before you have time to transfer it to your scalp and/or to rub it it.As for the main ingredient, Minoxidil, it has a decades-long reputation for helping people to regrown hair. My dermatologist recommended that I try it. My stylist/hair specialist does scalp treatments (cleansing the follicles) and red-light therapy--both of which cost significantly more than this two-month supply of Minoxidil! Even my "fancy" liquid biotin costs more. What I didn't know is the potential side effect of growing hair in places you don't want/need to! Based on research, it seems that 5% is the max recommended. I also ordered the 2.5% version. I am going to stick with that. If I don't have any adverse reactions (none yet), I'll move up to 5% and see how things go. At the moment, I am not willing to risk adding extra hair anywhere other than at the crown of my head.

Bad flow, thin foam, and oily.
I ordered this because the kind I normally buy wasn't available. I should have just waited. The aerosol can this comes in has a very inconsistent flow. Sometimes you barely squeeze and it rockets out, other time you fully depressed the actuator and it barely flows. In either case, the foam is very thin and quickly collapses. On top of that, it is noticeably oily. Not quite as bad as the some of the non-foaming liquid I've tried, but bad enough that I stopped using it. Will not be buying this brand again.

It’s a flop……flops off.
Not sure if it’s doing anything after a few months of usage. But my biggest gripe is how the foam doesn’t stick long enough before it falls off…..not giving me a chance to wipe it into my skin. I’m sticking with liquid next time.

easy to apply
The foam is easy to apply and feels lightweight. I’m hopeful to see some improvement after using it for a while.

Nice foaming Minoxidil product
Honestly, I'm not so sure that Minoxidil works particularly well for me. I've tried a few other products, with minimal-to-no results. So far, I haven't noticed much result with this particular product, either... maybe a little bit, but I haven't been using it for very long, either... maybe 3 or 4 weeks at this point. However, I do like the foaming aspect to it. It helps to be able to distribute the product where you want to apply it and in the right amount.

White paste not foam.
I’ve been using the foam for years and ordered this pack because it seemed like a good deal. Foam turns to white paste on my scalp and stays white and noticeable. I’m going to order another pack of name-brand foam and throw this pack away.
