Get it
When I get into something, I dive deep. Whether it's colognes, boots, knives, orโright nowโwatches, I do my homework to make sure I know what my money is worth, and what is my moneyโs worth. There are a number of field watches Iโve been considering, especially from reputable brands like Hamiltonโspecifically the Khaki Field line. But I chose the Bertucci A2-T, and let me tell you, Iโd be just as happy wearing this watch day-to-day as I would be with any Hamilton. This watch is rugged, reliable, and the dial design shares that same clean, utilitarian aesthetic you'd expect from a classic field watch. Itโs simple without being dullโthereโs a charm to its clarity and purpose. The titanium case is lightweight but tough, and it feels like a tool built to be used, not babied. This is the kind of watch I want to beat up. I donโt worry about scuffs or scratches, because thatโs part of the appeal. Itโs a watch I can wear in any work environment with confidence. And at its price point, the value is undeniable. If you're just getting into field watches and find yourself overwhelmed by all the optionsโbrands, movements, price rangesโIโd suggest starting here. Buy it, wear it, and let it prove itself to you. Odds are, it will.

An honest, rugged watch
This is not a flashy watch that attracts attention. But then, I'm not a flashy person who seeks attention via the things I wear. This is a rugged, practical, reliable, accurate, small, comfortable, honest watch. It performs one function: to let you know the time, at the quickest glance, effortlessly, under all conditions. When you're not using it to tell time, it stays out of the way, not demanding any care or attention. This watch is as legible as any watch I've seen. The wide white hour and minute hands are always extremely visible, sharply contrasting against the black face, regardless of lighting conditions or viewing angle. The thin red second hand is less obvious, but that means that it never interferes with your ability to read the hour and minute hands at the quickest glance. The hour and minute hands are covered in luminous paint that makes the watch easily readable when waking up in the predawn darkness, while the second hand has only a small luminous dot, making it possible to read with some effort, but never interfering with the more important hands. The sandblasted titanium case is very smooth and pleasant to the touch. It has a raised bezel that surrounds the crystal, shielding it from scratches. The screw-down crown and screw-on back keep the watch securely waterproof. Where other watches attach their wrist straps via spring-loaded bars that are subject to failure, the Bertucci features solid titanium bars that are an integral part of the sturdy case. I have been wearing my A-2T daily for about four months now. It has consistently gained about five seconds per month, which is good enough for my purposes. It is incredibly simple, comfortable, and easy to read.

Outstanding build quality- luminescence is poor
I would consider myself an entry level watch collector. This watchโs case is high quality and super lightweight. The 40mm case is the perfect size for my frame. Iโm of average size but anyone that might be slightly larger may want to consider a larger case. Movement: watch has stayed very accurate maintaining time and date. The movement in the watch is a high quality movement and one should notice a deviation for years. Buy which that time the battery will need to be replaced. The date window is on the edge of being too small to read. But this isnโt a deal breaker considering the size of the case. Band: The band is made of a high quality fabric. I wear the watch 100% all day. Even in the shower. The band dries quickly and doesnt leave you feeling gross while it is drying or after. The material stays flexible and comfortable. I hardly even know the watch is on. The bad! If you need a watch to tell time at night in a dark environment. This watchโs case is useless. The glow of the dial is really poor. There has been a few occasions had to pull out the phone to check the time. Iโd give this a five if it wasnโt for this.

Accurate, luminous, light weight and excellent water resistance..
In the past 3 years I've been using an Apple watch (covering series 2, 3, 4 & briefly 5 too) every single day and suddenly started realized that its too much of a distraction and was out looking for a watch that does not break the bank, is light weight, durable and accurate... I personally do not like the heaviness and "attention grabbing shine" that Stainless steel watches bring to the table. Came across various brands that offer titanium watches and found this one from Bertucci which is not expensive and fulfills all of the qualities I was looking for.. Have been using this for the past 10 days or so. Below is my feedback about this watch: Likes 1. Light weight and yet solid durability, thanks to Titanium. 2. Really excellent water resistance (I swam at least a 2k-3k meters wearing this watch and found no issues with both the watch as well as the Nylon band). Make sure you screw down before taking it in the water. 3. Excellent in low light - luminous hands and hour markers glow in the dark. 4. Looks beautiful but at the same time not attention grabbing (that's a plus for me). 5. Nylon band is super solid, breathable and yet comfortable.. (you could tie yourself and it could drag.. lol you get the point!!) 6) Last but not the least, it's pretty accurate with Date and Time. Cons (not deal breakers though) 1) I felt 40mm is a little on the smaller side for my wrist. Prefer it to be at least 41 or 42mm. 2) The Nylon band when you wear it for the first time, it can feel a little too hard (meaning would not snug well enough). But no worries for a couple of days make sure to wear it while you shower or swim with it and it will get softer). 3) Two metal clasps can feel a little annoying if you work a lot with computers like I do but eventually you'll get used to it. 4) You need to manually change the date for months that does not have 31 days.. I still would like to give it a 5 star for its solid build quality and accuracy)

Poor-man's Rich-Man's Watch - LOVE IT!
Update April 2018: Time to change the battery! Hopefully this solves the fact that the watch started losing time; what can i say batteries die. The face has developed some scratches therefore I recommend getting a model with sapphire glass. The luminous function is really awesome. No need for Indiglo, even if you forget to sun-charge it (itโs just a bit dimmer then.). Iโm looking forward to seeing a self-winding watch of this style from Bertucci! Sep 2016: I am really loving this watch. I bought it because I couldn't stand the Timex watch I bought. Timex Men's TW2P614009J Main Street Sport Silver-Tone Stainless Steel Watch With Expansion Band This watch kills the Timex in several areas: -The Timex is NOISY and this watch is silent. Seriously - I couldn't concentrate and neither could my co-worker in the cubicle farm. -The Timex strap pulled on my arm hair; this design doesn't have that problem -The Timex requires battery-consuming Indiglo; the feature stopped working when I tried to smooth out all the rough edges of the watch (which were cutting into my skin) with sandpaper - I think a grit of sand got in and blocked the crown from going all the way in. -I mentioned that the entire Timex has sharp edges. -The SUPER Luminous watch face is AMAZING! I can read the time instantly, any time night or day. It's a fantastic design, beautifully readable! -Now, this Bertucci watch's strap DID come with some rough manufacturing edges, solely on the strap. However, I again applied some sandpaper and the strap fuzzed up and smoothed out. It's fine now! -The strap is a little bit thick so if you do a lot of typing you may want to take it off while you work, but it's a more intuitive strap to use and I don't need to take it off while working at the computer. All in all, I would buy an even more expensive Bertucci watch next time - I trust this brand and am never buying another cheap Timex. Proves you get what you pay for - a $30 watch doesn't equal a $130 watch. Note: I had previously bought a digital Timex heart rate watch and its plastic strap failed twice. Timex T5J031 Unisex Digital Fitness Heart Rate Monitor Watch I had a Fitbit "water resistant" Surge and it died from water when I went down a waterslide. Fitbit Surge Fitness Superwatch, Black, Large I think this screw-down crown design will really save my watch and I am already using it fearlessly around water. Danny

Tough as heck, but not due to gaudy anti-shock bumpers. 20 years or so, and not one scratch.
I adore this model. I wear this everywhere, except the shower. I work hard outdoors, in a workshop, and in many computer labs. I wood work, silver smith, leather smith, stone carve... constantly opening server cases and changing parts... never one single scratch anywhere on this. I bought a dozen or so nato bands and run those through the wash once in a while. The time is accurate. The dial is easy to quickly glance-n-read. The price is definitely right. Bought my first one maybe 20 or so years ago. Made the mistake of trying to change the battery myself, and... well... don't do that. This is a next-level watch and you should have a jeweler handle that for you.

accurate and durable
I purchased this watch as a gift because I've owned the same watch for over 8 years. 4 stars on easy to read simply because the date is a little small. Aside from that, the watch is very easy to read and the glow in the dark feature makes telling time in low light easy. Date might have to be reset on months without 31 days which can be a little annoying but it's easy enough to do. This watch is durable, accurate and looks great even after years of use. If you need another watch, this is a good choice that doesn't break the bank.

Great Seller. Nice plain watch and light weight
I've had this piece for about 6 months. Great Seller. Nice plain watch and light weight. Cauthion: the date is VERY hard to see, almost need a magnifying glass. In low light it is almost impossible to see the date because of the very thin date numbers. However, face of the watch is easy to see, and when the Glow in Dark is active (by holding it close to a light for a few moments), it is bright enough to see in low light. However, you will need to activate the Glow in the Dark feature by holding it close to a light source or you won't be able to see it very well. Over all I like the watch. I'm wearing it now. The outside Titanium bezel scratches easy, so when I'm aroud other metal objects or fixing cars or something like that, I try to remove it. I have a few scratches in it from something. But, I use my watch like a tool, not for show. Band is tough. However, when you sweat, it also can get a little smelly, so I wash it with soap and water, and it seems to wash easily. I like how easy the band comes off, this is a key feature for me. The Time Piece keeps very accurate time. I now use it instead of my S/S Sieko. I really love my Sieko Sport 5 (its twice as expensive), but I'm a little hard on watches, and my Sieko is really more for dress and casual, but I'm a hard on watches, and after 7 years finally had to replace my S/S Sieko watch band. With this Bertucci watch, I Have never had to change the time or make any adjustments to the time. I like that feature. Very accurate. I'll have to see if I like it as much as my Sieko after 7 years of hard use. So far, seems pretty good.

Best Watch I have Bought
The watch is titanium so it is very light - you hardly know it is there. The strap is breathable and attaches to the watch so that will not come apart. There are no pins that can break as I have had in previous watches The knob that you use to adjust the time is positioned at 4 oclock not 3 as is usual whch avoid pinching your wrist at time when you move. The knob screws in to keep water out. The size of the face is just the right size. The batteries are easy to replace and last 3 to 5 years.

Really good for around $150
Love the watch, it's quiet, seems well-built. Strap is nice, I would prefer leather but it cost too much. I would prefer it was made in US, but it cost too much. Swiss luminous is luminous, it usually glows for about an hour after you remove it from light. It feels nice and solid, the frame overhangs the glass slightly so you don't smash it. The second hand doesn't perfectly line up with the markings between 6 and 12 o'clock for some reason, probably just a defect with the printing on the watch face. Overall happy with it, would've preferred a more polished finish to the titanium, rather than the matte.

Fantastic watch
A genuine titanium watch for this money ... YES THESE WATCHES ARE SO GOOD, AND GREAT VALUE, AND LOOK GREAT. sorry about shouting, but these are worth shouting about. The watch itself, upgraded to 200m waterproof, screw crown (protects it at deeper depths), Swiss lume, and change from 120 (aug 2021) who h is great value. Yes it's quartz, that just means great time keeping. Soo easy to recommend All the above. Go on treat yourself. Takes approx 2 to 3 weeks to come direct from supplier. No duty to pay either, not at this price. You want an everyday watch, that does the job, reliable, looks good too, not expensive, reasonably tough. Go on, spoil yourself.
