MAC Zoom Lash Mascara"Zoomblack" (Boxed)

I am SO DISAPPOINTED with this mascara....I read all the reviews before ordering and it was a toss up whether or not I would like this mascara. The Mac Mascara I ordered a year ago was "waterproof", but because it no longer was available, I had to go with a non waterproof product, to which is far from what I wanted. As most of the less than 5 star reviews posted, it clumps, and you have to be very careful in applying a thinner layer because of getting the "black eye" look. Its a lot of money for something I seriously wish I hadn't ordered. I went to Macy's before I ordered this and they sold me another waterproof mascara, but it is for false eyelashes and the brush application didn't fill out my eye lashes. Now I've paid twice for two products I don't like. Live and Learn.... I'm done with MAC products.

I love how this mascara goes on however, it runs so easily. It is actually messy. Even when taking extreme care to take it off at the end of the day, I still often wake up in the morning with either some of it still smudged around my eyes or some it stuck in the corners of my eyes. I have never spent this much on a mascara before and love Mac products. But, I would pass on this one.

Goes on nicely does not clump easily but is very wet and weighs lashes down after you've taken the time to curl them with an eyelash curler stays wet and easily smudges if bumped or touched in any way

DOESNT SEAM AS GOOD AS THE MAC ZOOM I BOUGHT IN THE MALL ... IT SMUDGES IT RUBBED OR WET - I DONT REMEMBER THAT HAPPENING EITHER - BUT THE BOTTLE LOOKS THE SAME AS I REMEMBER HMMM ?? WHO KNOWS !.

For years the classic drug store brand, in hot pink & green, was my go to. Something changed & it became industrial strength & nearly impossible to remove. Mac Fast Zoom fills the void nicely. Perfect wearability, stays on, yet easy to remove. Application is great with good lash separation.

The product I received it so far from the authentic MAC mascara I already had. It was goopy and smelled horrendous. I immediately returned this. Still awaiting my refund, but trust it will come through quickly.As far as the TRUE MAC Zoom Lash Mascara - that mascara is amazing. It really grabs even the littlest eyelashes and totally blacks them out and adds serious volume. Adore it - when I got the fake stuff I went through MAC and bought the real stuff.

Mac still makes the best mascara I've ever used, and this one is excellent. To be honest, I'm not sure if it's waterproof and have not put it to the test in the pool. But for everyday wear, it's great with no "glopping" or sticking my lashes together. It comes off easily with makeup remover, and I never see "raccoon eyes" the next morning. .

This mascara I have been debating as i've had a number of mixed reviews from my clients. Clients with longer eyelashes felt like it was a good mascara and lengthened their eyelashes and provided a lot of darkness to their eyelashes. Although on the other hand my clients with short eyelashes complained that it made their eyelashes clumpy. I decided to use this on myself. I have long eyelashes and felt like it did give me a good coat of mascara, but any more than one coat does add clumps. One of the complaints which I speak for myself and what my clients have told me on both sides complain that it irritates their eyes, and that you must not forget to take off this mascara if you are going to bed as it does sting.
