Q: Is anyone using this on macbook pro el capitan? i need something super easy and super reliable without need for dvd installation.

I tried to use RW 4D on El Capitan for weeks with no success. I called Visioneer on 7/29/2016 (Case #15002). Dryden Lafferty said Visioneer Support will track to see if / when they support the current release of El Capitan (10.11.6; only support 10.10 now). While they were willing to RMA / exchange the RW 4D I bought they recommended I get my money back from Amazon instead. Fortunately, Amazon was more than willing to do a refund. Thereafter I bought a Neat Mobile Scanner. It installed in seconds and has worked flawlessly since.. I had 2 other Neat Mobile Scanners previously and they both worked well too. I just have to be careful to avoid scratches that ruin the quality of scans requiring me to buy a new scanner. I used my 2nd Neat Mobile Scanner so much that I wore out the proprietary power USB cable that Neat supplies. Neat doesn't sell that cable separately so Support sent me another one for free!.

Q: How many pages can be fed at a time?

The RoadWarrior 4D is a single sheet-fed scanner. It can only take one page at a time but has the functionality to scan multiple pages into one document.

Q: Will this scan into an iPad ?

Unfortunately, the RoadWarrior 4D has to scan to a computer with an Operating System and a USB port. It will not scan to an iPad.

Q: Can it scan US legal size docs ??

Yes. The RoadWarrior 4D will scan both legal and letter size documents.
