These fireplace tools are exactly what I needed for my outdoor setup! My fireplace is a bit weathered, so I wanted something functional and durable rather than overly stylish, and this set delivers perfectly. The tools feel sturdy and well-made, so I’m expecting to get many years of reliable use from them. They’re practical and get the job done without any frills, which is exactly what I was looking for. These tools aren’t cut for the job. Overall the metal is thin and not particularly strong, and the length of each tool is short.The tongs are only 21” past the handle. That requires you to be too close to the fire in order to move a log. The metal isn’t very thick and bends when tension is placed on the tongs (e.g., when picking up a larger log). The handle isn’t very comfortable.The fire poker is made up of two segments (for easier shipping) that are screwed together. The diameter of the poker is on the smaller side, making the poker have a weak point where the two parts are screwed together.

This fire place set from DIIVOO is surprisingly robust based on how compact it was packaged from the manufacturer. The wood tongs spread open into a zig zag to create a small footprint and the poker is in two pieces that go together based on the threaded insert.They are sturdy and have great weight to them. We chose these for a wood stove that was just added in a 1940’s 25x40 red block shop building. These tools will make it easy to stir the coals, move logs in the stove and just general fire tending. Along with the wood stove, it will be warmer to work on projects this winter. The price at the time of this review is $19.99. This price is a total steal of a deal. This is a 5 Star set even if priced at $29. I recommend these tools.

This set of fire poker and tongs is of decent quality. It is not super heavy duty so don't expect to be picking up heavy logs with the tongs. It's adequate for picking up medium sized logs and moving them around in the fire. The tongs could be a little longer too. Overall, I'd say they're good enough for your average back yard fire pit.

I got this to use in a wood stove. The design isn't very hefty so I wouldn't use it for large logs but for the size of logs that go in a wood stove, it'll work. Not bad for what you get

Solid metal but thin, should hold up well if you're not beating anything with it lolThe grip on the uh grabber is small, not fitting my hand through there and it's a bit stiff opening\closing though I'd expect that to be worked out over time. As the item you'd use to hold a heavier piece of wood, potentially on fire, I'd expect to be able to be able to use my entire hands strength to accomplish that...It may work well if you have much smaller hands than mine, but for me... Meh

These aren't by any means built to last but they make a nice little kit for a fire pit or even better to take on a camping trip.
