love this blender. Great for smoothies and shakes. Very easy to clean and looks great

Worked really well in the beginning but right after a year the rubbery part burned out.It comes with a two year warranty but good luck getting through customer care. I sent them several emails and trying to call them but there is absolutely no customer care support. Will have to buy a new blender (with a different brand for sure!).

If is not as powerful as they claim and the difference in speed buttons aren’t much. Also, I found it awkward that you had to have the handle in the middle. Still, the multiple blades a better work rate than the motor.

Like some others on here, I had a blender that worked brilliantly for a year and then the rubber blade casing started to leak oil. Then the blade rattled and came loose, forcing the jug off the motor and then the blade cut into the the plastic jug. Jug ruined.It was under a two year warranty but customer care have been inconsistent at best. Long waits to get through, told one thing, told another, told to go back to point of purchase with an uplift number (as their warranty was only one year), which got denied, then promised a new jug from AEG by way of compensation, for them to then cancel honouring this without explanation. The whole experience has been a farce. I think they knew there were problems with this model and are running from responsibility. My advice, don’t buy any small appliance from AEG, as they treat you appallingly for a flaw that is their fault.

The media could not be loaded. This is a very stylish and sleek looking blender with an underside cord storage to take up excess. It has a heavy, solid feel to it and feels like it was built to last. It is easy to setup, clean (dishwasher safe jug) and use. you can select your own speed, boost or use a pre-programmed button for ice, smoothies, drinks and soups. To be honest the extra buttons are a bit of a gimmick as no doubt you will just bung it on and blend until you decide it has had enough. The digital display will tell you how long the blender has been running or count-down if using a pre-programmed button - the pre-set timing of which is laughable (1min 14 seconds for a smoothie, 58 seconds for soup and 44 seconds for drink - why not round them off?). The jug is dishwasher safe and is made of an acrylic type plastic which some would prefer to be glass...until you drop it. Like many blenders there is no safety stop if you don't have the lid on. When running it is not overly noisy for a blender and it is quite stable when in full spin.Taken a star off for the following: When assembled it is very tall and not easy to store. The current price tag of £372 is cost prohibitive. This may just be an early launch price, so if you are interested I would say hold off, this is bound to drop. If it doesn't then I would have to say there are some pretty good blenders out there for half the price. I was using a food processor with a blender attachment (which won't work if you forget to put the lid on). It was around £70 and whilst it may not be quite as good as this as a blender for blending, it is close enough, easier to store, has other useful capabilities (mixing, grating, slicing etc) and £300 cheaper.

The media could not be loaded. Goood ??? AEG ???....we did only smoothie in the mornings and used only four months.today started to work very loud,sound as hell..we are very disappointed...poor build quality,loose bolts inside !!!

Waste of time, overheated while making firs smoothie....sent it back
