The best all in one toaster oven you can find!
To start, I am a toaster oven advocate. Not enough people know about toaster ovens and are using their full ovens to cook something small. This is a waste of time and energy. I believe that unless you're normally cooking things in big batches, you don't even need an oven. A toaster oven like this does everything you could possible need. I'm also a firm believer that he who buys cheap buys twice. That's why when I was upgrading from the old Cuisinart toaster oven I had had for 10 years, I sought a toaster oven that could do it all and replace as many appliances as possible. The ninja double stack XL 12-in-1 was what I settled on. I haven't tested every mode of this machine yet, but so far, nothing has disappointment me. I don't need a separate toaster, air fryer, or dehydrator and the bake/roast options heat much faster than the big oven. Learning how to use top and bottom ovens at once was not the easiest to figure out, so I keep the manual handy for when I can't figure something out. This learning curve doesn't upset me, because the machine would be simpler to use if it was just that- simple. But this appliance can do way more than a simple toaster oven, so patience is worth it. A feature I love is the smart detect thermometer. With this there is no constantly opening the oven and using a meat thermometer to check if the food is done, and I don't overcook meat anymore. The whole thing is easy to clean, has a great manual with suggestions for meals, and even though its pretty big, because it replaces so many other appliances, it ultimately saves space in the kitchen. I think this appliance is a great value for its price, especially if you can get it on sale, and I'd recommend it!

Analysis Paralysis
Okay I did a lot of research on a new air fryer as our old ninja foodi air fryer/grill/bake died after 5 years of everyday use. I would say that we got our moneys worth on the last unit and I appreciate the shark/ninja brand as we own a ninja coffee bar and a shark robot vacuum. I have analysis paralysis as I research things to death. Let’s get right into it. I read that the oven handle was in the way of the oven opening and it almost swayed me from making a purchase as I wanted to keep it in the corner of our kitchen. The door opens fine with maybe loosing an inch of clearance but you are still able to open the door and get things from the bottom compartment perfectly fine. Next read reviews that the machine was way too loud. I’m guessing those people do not have two wild boys of 10 and 8 running around. The machine is perfectly fine. Yes it isn’t a Tesla but it is quiet compared to my old ninja foodi. I read reviews of the machine sliding across counters. I admit as soon as I opened it out of the box and put it on the counter it slid. I was like oh no. But after multiple uses it hasn’t slid once. It is sticking to the counter. I have a composite countertop so maybe it’s different than people with quartz. Next I read about the heat clearance from the machine to the cabinets. Valid concerns as I went and bought a cutting board made for the top. Not ninja brand just Amazon brand. Works great. Ran the machine for 30 minutes and the top of the cutting board was still cool to the touch. Having two compartments for cooking is a game changer for family cooking and prep. Again I see myself using this everyday for as long as it works, and so far it will improve my everyday life. Quicker meals, less clean up. Anyone who has a family and cooks a meal can understand how the kitchen can go from spotless to tore up with one meal. We are a family that cooks a lot. I also have a traeger smoker and am always running that but we are in Ohio and right now it is 0 degrees. I will grill in the winter but not when it gets this cold. Anyway great product so far and look forward to spending more time with the fam. I also bought the unit with the meat thermometer as my traeger has it and it’s a game changer. Only thing it doesn’t have is WiFi cooking like my traeger. Maybe on the next models. Anyway great product ninja!

Nice, but it could have been just a little bigger.
Good news first. This is a nice oven, chock full of features. The basic controls are pretty simple - cook mode, cook time, temp & go. The double oven feature is really nice when you are just doing just toast or pizza. Everything seems to cook faster. Does not heat up the kitchen much. The not so good news. Non-standard size oven cavities. Depth and Width limits for both ovens are 12.5" and the actual practical size is 11"x11" The maximum height clearance is 2.5" for the top oven and 5" (or 2+2.25) for the bottom. My 9x11 pans would only fit one at a time b/c they are an inch "too tall" and the 9x13 cookie sheet won't fit at all. Forget the 12" pizza pans b/c they are actually 13", and the 9x11 cookie sheets with grip handles. The footprint of this oven is smaller than my vintage microwave. They could have added 3" to all dimensions and it would still fit with plenty of clearance on an average counter and standard size pans would fit as they should and probably won't need any more power. Maybe they will release the XXL that uses standard size pans some day ? Luckily, I can still bake 2 loaves of bread at the same time. A few minor annoyance: The blower/fan on the right side of the cavity causing things to cook faster on one side. A piece of foil and pan rotation can fix that but it's still an inconvenience. The vibration from the fan causes a lightly loaded pan to walk around and ended up in one corner of the oven. Huh? What's with that ? Non-latching grate pulls out along with the tray, sometime. No mechanism to prevent the grates from coming all the way out unintentionally - very annoying when trying to access large trays by pulling the grate out part way and then the grate falls off when you pull on the tray. BTW, you will need one or two of those (metal) pot grabber thingies to deal with the pan b/c it's impossible to access the sides of the pan to lift it out. Only one crumb tray was provided, the bottom oven could use one as well b/c stuff drips from the air fryer basket. YMWV
