DTK Replacement for Greenworks 80V Battery Ion Cordless Power Tools 80 Volt Batteries 2500mAh

I was skeptical, but this battery seems to perform better than the original batteries did when they were new. I've only had it for a few weeks, so I don't know about longevity. Because the price is so much less, I was going be happy even if it was only a little bit behind the brand name battery.

I have a very old Lenovo Edge 15 whose last replacement battery decided, for no apparent reason, that it was time to die. I order a replacement by DTK. It arrived almost instantly, well packaged, in perfect condition, and with excellent instructions on how to train a new Li-Ion battery. My new battery snapped in perfectly, and fit like a glove. I allowed it to fully charge before booting up for the first time. Upon logging in, my battery indicated more than 4 hours of life on this first charge. That has NEVER been the case with this computer. I don't think I've ever seen 3 full hours on the meter. As instructed, I let it run until the battery drained to 7%, then fully charged. Again, flawless performance. Considering that this battery cost less than half the price of the first replacement battery, which had a lower capacity, I cannot find any room for improvement.

My Lenovo tried to reject the battery. It stated it only supports authentic Lenovo batteries. I thought my computer broke because it a crazy looking error. Turned it off then back on and it was working fine. I feel like the battery life doesn’t last that long. Well, I thought it would last longer because it’s “extended life”. It fixed the dead battery issue I needed it for. So, I’m content.

Works well. Easily edges the whole house multiple times on one charge.

About half the life of the standard battery. Usually lasts about 15 minutes for me.

Using my old Lenovo T410 for basic needs like email, internet searching and web purchasing I don't need an expensive new multimedia laptop to handle gaming or streaming video. However I was tired of having about 3 hours of use unplugged before needing to hook up to power adapter again. With this battery I have been able to be disconnected for over 20 hours with intermittent use and not have laptop shut down due to battery life. Don't know how much longer the laptop may last but for now the minimal investment in this extended life battery was a great choice an better than laying out $600 plus software fees for anew laptop. Highly recommend if your in same scenario as me.

charge wont last long

This was purchased as a backup battery for the Greenworks cultivator. It does work, but my husband found that if he hit a rough patch and the cultivator jerked around the battery would pop out. It does not stay in place as securely as the Greenworks battery, but it is cheaper. So you have to decide if you want to save money or spend time putting the battery back in place. It probably pops out of place because it is a little bit different shape than the official Greenworks battery.

My battery lasted just barely over 1 year. I started noticing less charge at about 14 month, just after warranty. It didn't make it to 2 years, it says 0% and gives red battery error. Need a new battery since a few months. I think I did reach out to them after warranty. I will try my luck with an other brand.
