This is an update on the band it self. I got a replacement on 1/3/23 and exchanged it got it on worked and fit great! Until today 4/27/24 it ripped again the little loop or belt snapped in half and fell off. I can’t say I’m mad because I genuinely wear this none stop! Hot cold dirt pulls you name it I’m always wearing it so I push this I’m happy ish with it. I wish a new version came out or something it dangles now or rather it sticks up just enough where it gets caught quite a bit and it’s annoying. I wish I could exchange it under warranty but eh they’re not that expensive. Good band great watch of course just know the loop might snap one day I’d buy two if possible and restock after that first one snaps.

This was a perfect fit for my son's watch; easy to install if you have the right sized small cross head screwdriver (which I did).

The band is a perfect replacement for my W-96H Casio watch.The slight challenge are the screws that hold the band on.You will need a very small Philips screwdriver to remove/replace the 4 tiny screws.I used the screwdriver from a eyeglass repair kit, which worked perfectly.

Thank goodness the band for the Casio W96H-1BV is replaceable. The watch itself is fine and is everything a watch should be. My only complaints are that the original band lasted for only 1.5 years of normal, daily wear, and this replacement band costs over half the cost of the watch itself. Thankfully I kept the pin screws that came with the original band, because the replacement does NOT include screws. I decided to replace the band because the watch itself is fine and didn't want to contribute to electronic waste no matter the size. If a fabric band could be used instead, I would think it would last a lot longer than this plastic band.

Over the years I have owned a series of Casio model W-96H four-button watches. For me, they're the perfect size and offer exactly the functionality that I want, all for a very reasonable price. In the past, when the straps have broken--as they inevitably do--I have just gone to Walmart and bought a new watch. Unfortunately, Walmart apparently no longer sells a four-button version of the W-96H or any other four-button watches with the same form factor and functionality, but stocks only similarly sized three-button watches that I find lacking. This genuine Casio watchband is an exact replacement for the one my watch came with. It's a little pricey for what it is--a couple of molded rubber strips and a little stainless steel buckle--but for half the price of what it would cost me to buy a replacement watch directly from Casio, it allows me to continue to use the watch I prefer. When this watchband breaks--as it inevitably will--I'll buy another watchband right here on Amazon.

This watch band is easy to install with a tiny screwdriver and extends the life of the watch for me. I wear out the bands on these watches long before the 10 year battery runs out so having extra bands helps me. Why buy another new watch when the band is all I need. Glad they have these at Amazon! I have three of the watches, two for work and one for when I am not doing landscape and grounds work. I try to keep extra bans on hand.
