This thing came packed nicely! Very heavy duty and easy to install! Yes it’s expensive compared to others but I’m telling you the others don’t even come close to this quality/fit/design! I’d like to shake the hand of the people who engineered this thing! It’s quite genius! Solidly mounted ZERO movement mounted on my 2017 JAYCO 4” bumper with swagman rv approved bike rack! I did a couplePull-ups on it at 185lbs and it’s solid! I will update my review after our trip to Lake George this summer but so far I can see no issues! Highly recommended!

I want to start off by saying I overthink almost everything so when calculating for a clamping hitch and rack I was really anxious about the setup because the tongue limit is 300 lbs and the bike itself is 242 dry. Plus it wasn’t until I mounted the entire assembly and bike did I recognize the bumper is spot welded to the frame of the Sprinter so I was almost certain I’d be walking back and retrieving a bumper connected to my bike; but after nearly 500 miles on Texas’s finest roads (he said sarcastically) and multiple stops during fueling to verify everything I’m pleased to say everything held up rather well.Pro tip: I went and got a $3 small foam dodge ball from Walmart and cut a hole in it to place on the handle bar side closest to the trailer. No visible rubbing or bouncing. It obviously won’t withstand the elements but I figure for $3 I can treat it as a consumable if it prevents the bars from banging into the trailer.

So far my bumper has not been damaged by carting 2 adult bikes. Fits bumper securely and distributes the weight well. Needs to be checked daily for tightness.

This is a really great combination of a bumper hitch and bumper support bracket. Really heavy-duty stuff. Was very easy to put on took about an hour. The hitch is really easy and well designed. You can see I have Lectric bikes, they weight 57 pounds each (with batteries out) and the bike rack weights 56 pounds, that is 170 pounds. On a test drive it handled the weight no problem. I highly recommend this product.

Allowed me to install a bike rack on the bumper of our travel trailer, which was only rated for 100lbs. Now the bumper supports up to 400lbs. Get this product and the bumper is now functional and not just a stinky slinky transporter. Now we can easily take our eMountain bikes when we go camping! Heavy gauge powder coated steel. Instructions were clear and easy to follow.

The support brackets seem to really do their job securing the bumper. The hitch itself is very sturdy. The bolt underneath secures whatever hitch accessories you put into it. This keeps it from shaking which would weaken the bumper welds otherwise. Very nice product.

Most tell you not to add a bike rack to a trailer bumper - this gives you the security and rigidity to your bumper welds that should have been there all along - Forest River welds the entire length of the bumper, but unfortunately most only tack weld - this gives you the added support you need to add your spare tire or bikes to your RV.

The product seems to be built well but I will not able to use on my Forest River No Boundaries RV. After installing the braces onto the frame bracket of the RV I realize that the frame bracket was not actually part of the structural frame. I feel the braces will support where the bracket is welded to the 4 inch bumper but does support the other weld where the bracket is welded to the RV carriage.

I don't usually review stuff I buy, but this thing deserves it!. Came flat packed which took me by surprise, but turns out to be an amazingly designed piece. Fit and finish is great, fits the bumper crazy tight. Super solid. Weak point now will definitely be the bumper itself, but the support brackets I bought with this should do the trick for my bike carrier.
