Witness the space-saving functionality of this useful tool.. Review: Don't buy it!! - I had to toss them all, measurements never worked and the spices where stuck in the bottles. I had to through it away. Review: Interesting idea, would be better if adjustable and more durable - I grabbed this spice carousel on a whim, thinking it might be a nice addition to my new kitchen setup since I moved recently. It's... fine. While everything works ok, and seems reasonable in terms of manufacture quality, it feels a bit cheap. Everything, every part of the containers and of the carousel itself, is made of a not particularly robust feeling plastic. That hasn't prevented anything from working, it just feels like the lifespan of the whole thing is limited, I have my doubts that it would be a long term addition to the kitchen, that SOMETHING will break within a year or two of regular use. Everything comes apart easily for cleaning (whenever I get anything food related, whether from a store or online, it gets washed before use), which is convenient. The containers are NOT dishwasher safe, so don't expect to be able to wash them that way. Hand wash only unfortunately. I thought the auto dispensing would be a nice feature, but I also thought it would be adjustable, which it isn't. Even the instructions seem to imply that it is, but then you read more closely and see that it means, "oh hey, you want 1/2 a teaspoon? Well then turn it twice!" You can obviously pour from the top instead since that's just a standard sort of spout arrangement, but it would be nice if you could somehow set the dispenser on the bottom to put out a smaller or larger amount per container per turn. Anyway, for what you're getting, I feel like it's kind of a so-so product for a so-so price. If it were a fair amount cheaper, it could be good value. Conversely, if it were made of higher quality materials (glass and metal for example), it would feel more worth the price, or even a little more. It's not BAD, but it's not really anything to write home about either.

Kitchen Art Elite Auto-Measure Plastic Spice Carousel Professional Series
I recently received the Kitchen Art Elite Auto-Measure Plastic Spice Carousel and it has been a game changer in my kitchen! This spice carousel features eight 3.5 oz spice jars on a rotating base, making it easy to access the spices I use most often. The auto-measure feature is particularly impressive—each click measures out 1/4 teaspoon, which makes cooking so much more convenient and precise. No more guessing or spilling excess spice, just a perfect measure every time. The spice jars are made from durable plastic and have a sleek silver finish, so they not only function well but also look stylish in my kitchen. The carousel’s rotating base makes it easy to locate any spice, and I love that it can either double stack or be mounted under cabinets for space-saving storage. The set also comes with 16 spice labels, which helps me stay organized and ensures that everything has its place. The size of the jars is perfect for my most-used spices, and the carousel itself doesn’t take up too much counter space. It measures 7.5 inches wide by 9 inches high, making it compact enough to fit neatly in my kitchen. I also appreciate the simple care instructions—just hand wash and towel dry, which makes cleaning a breeze. Overall, the Kitchen Art Elite Auto-Measure Spice Carousel is an excellent addition to my kitchen. It’s functional, stylish, and makes cooking more efficient. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to organize their spices and improve their cooking experience.

Plastic, takes up space
This seemed to be a beautiful spice carousel, but when I got my hands on it, it did not look as good as in the product visuals. The visuals had a more metallic look, despite the product page clearly indicating that it is plastic, but in reality, you can easily tell that they are plastic, and that makes them look somewhat cheap. The second important thing for me was that it takes a lot of space, on my already crowded kitchen counter. When I put several of the individual spice bottles next to each other, they don't take much space, but when I put the whole rotating base there, it occupies much more space than the sum of the spice bottles on it, and that is simply too much for my kitchen counter. They have an interesting design for pouring, which I think is not well explained in either the product page or the product manual. Both the top and bottom parts can be screwed on and off. The top pops up to reveals a grill opening to pour spice manually. The bottom part seems to have a revolving compartment where the spice pours into the compartment as you rotate, and pours out as you rotate more. The top part is not anything different from usual spice shakers, although the grill slits might not be as large as you would like for some spices. I didn't find the bottom part practical either because as you rotate, suddenly a dense portion of spice drops, you cannot pour evenly as you do with a shaker. Overall, it is okay I suppose. It looks somewhat cheap, but it does what it promises. But I don't recommend it if you have limited space on your kitchen counter or wherever you are planning to place it.

Not Great
This looks alot more rigid and durable than it actually is. While this comes well packed and looks great, as soon as you pick one of the jars up you realize that this is made of a very light, less quality feeling plastic all around. Easy enough to fill, but the distribution opening is a bit of challenge to spin depending on the spice you have loaded in it. For salts and similar (harder spices), the spinning part for release and very hard to turn. There is some "leakage" as the dispenser part is little compartments that a cover spins to release. The spin does not cover every container to the fullest and can add extra content depending on the jar as I noticed it was not consistent across all the jars. The finish looks great and the holder spins well enough, though be careful as these will come off if you spin a little too quick. I would say this does work as described, I jut did not find it did it very well, and for the price, I am not impressed. I feel that this is not made with the best of materials and a bit expensive. I don't find this worth the cost. 2 stars because it does look good but the price is too high for this.

Difficult to fill with spices (narrow opening), not for fine powder, limited labels
Kitchen Art Elite auto-measure plastic spice carousel. The package contents come well covered in protective sleeves even though it is plastic and not glass. There are 8 jars in total, 2 sets of stickers (16 options altogether), carousel and a plastic adapter to mount it under cabinets. It would be nice to know which plastic was used, was it BPA free, it is listed as hand-wash only. The jars open on either side (top to fill it) and bottom (to clean it). Each "click" of the jar is supposed to dispense 1/4 teaspoon of ingredient. These may dispense differently depending on how fine the spice is. There is no way to regulate other than a 1/4 teaspoon amount, and the chamber doesn't always fill up. Be careful as the mechanism of filling chambers with spices (ie rotating clockwise until you hear a click) is the opposite of opening the jar from the bottom (counter-clockwise rotation), so if you forget or try to finick with it you may spill the contents. The jars are narrow and fit the carousel but if you're filling spices from a store bottle and don't want to scatter while you pour from a wide-mouth bottle to a narrow opening - use a funnel or a tiny spoon (my teaspoon was too large to fit the bottle so I transferred the contents one spoonful at a time with some finer powder wasted). Also the bottles are not meant for fine powders. I had granulated garlic (not the contraindicated garlic salt) in mine and just shaking the bottle with the bottom closed allowed for spice particles to get through. This is likely why the labels are restrictive in the names on the stickers. I'd prefer a way to label each of the jars myself as there are a lot of spices I just don't use (eg marjoram and cumin) and a lot that I'd rather have (garlic blends, different peppers and paprika). The stickers do adhere to tops of jars and seem to stay on. Fairly expensive for a plastic set with only 8 jars. I have not tried mounting it under the cabinet (no screws provided, even though the instruction sheet states there should be some provided).
