This is and amazing gift for a mom to write what she remembers and what she wants the kids to know. Especially my generation because souch of childhood and young adulthood was before social media. So it would otherwise be lost. Very meaningful.

My daughter got this for me so I could complete it for her. It has a LOT of different prompts to help you write and tell your child about your own childhood, teen years, past dreams, your child's childhood, what you want them to know about you. I will say, this book makes you think, and makes you have to face some of your very own failings as well as recognize yourself as a person plus giving you the opportunity to share your deep feelings about your child. The only issue is if you have several children...this is really geared to be from the mother to one of the children. Honestly, I don't know how someone would do this for 3 or 4 kids. It is NOT easy to complete because it is comprehensive in nature, and you have to commit youself to complete it, but I am so glad I have chosen to do this. It takes time, and I try to answer one or two questions at a time. My plan is to have it done before Christmas. I make not make that deadline. Plan on taking about a year to complete it. There is plenty of room to write your thoughts and the questions are not repetitive. They're well thought out.

This is a wonderful text to write in particularly if you have a mom that is irreplaceable. A great booklet to also reflect on your own experiences. It takes a lot of insightful and introspective timing though in filling out the pages. A priceless book after completion.

Bought to fill out for my kids to read one day. I thought it was mom focused but it’s a lot of family history stuff. Was looking for more of info for my boys to read about and laugh about some day. But it’s good if you want somewhere to document as much as you can.

This is the cutest gift! I have always wanted something where my mom could write down her most prized memories so that my sister and I could have them to tell our children. She loved it, and has almost finished it!

I bought this as a gift for my mother and am so glad that I did. It asks a myriad of questions with ample amount of space for your mom to write her responses. I love how varied the questions are; many are questions I would have never thought to ask! Your mom can fill it all out or just some of it. What a great way to get to know your mother better! I can't wait to get mine back from my mom.

Very happy with this purchase. My Mom did say some of the prompts didn’t pertain to her.... I just said doodle, draw, whatever you want...add a photo...She started writing in this right after Christmas....filled many pages.I’m so glad I did this, as she passed away unexpectedly 2 weeks ago ...I can’t read it yet... too difficult❤️
