This is the best blanket I have ever owned. I got a full and it lays almost perfectly corner to corner without any overhang at all on my king size mattress. Its so cozy, soft and warm. And the color is just as pictured. If I turn it on after I make my bed and then lay on it, I usually accidentally fall asleep! I can lay under the blanket with it on and not get too hot...and I cannot sleep if I get too hot. This blanket keeps you perfectly cozy and comfortable. Never too hot or cold. Its easy to wash and still works perfectly and is still just as soft. I've bought 2 more of these cuz they're such a great value and I was tired of fighting over it! 10 out of 10!

The blanket material is soft and feels nice on both sides. The remote works well. The ability to remove the remote and power is great as you can then wash the blanket as needed. The negative is major. The heating elements in the blanket are along two quite narrow spaces, a few inches from the edges only. There is NO heating element in the middle of the blanket, nor does the heat travel to the edges and corners. I understand that this is as heated blanket and not a heating pad. Heating pads can get VERY hot. There is no need for a heated blanket to get that hot. But, there is not for a heated/warming blanket to provide nice warmth for the majority of it's surface area, and that is not the case for this blanket. I purchased two of these blankets and both work in the same way, so what I describe is more a design issue, rather than some rare problem.

It is a soft ,very fluffy blanket with not much edge coverage. Sometimes it seems to not get as warm as at other times.You will need to turn it on 15 or 20 minutes before bedtime if you want your bed heated without waiting in a cold bed. I keep my bedroom at 64 degrees so that works for me. It sure is not like the electric blanket of 40 years ago which were instant heat.

I very much like the electric blanket. I would buy it again. I got the dark blue in the wide wale fabric. The fluffy white fabric on the underside & the blue wide wale fabric are both quite cheap so I wish they would improve that. I also do not really like the controller much. I wish it had a longer than 8 hour timer on it because sometimes I sleep over 8 hours & I like to set it when I leave for my 4 cats who enjoy snoozing on it on & off all day on my bed. I always set it on the highest heat which is 6. Saved me along with a couple portable radiator heaters when my heat was out. Still use it everyday with the heat on. I like that you need no other blankets. I use flannel sheets & keep my heat at 65-67. I do hope it is energy efficient. I also sometimes ball some of it up & put it under my sore lower back.
