TEN STARS!!
I would give this TEN stars! I have arthritis in my thumb from crocheting. This is a lightweight, heavy duty plastic that I am able to wear comfortably and does not affect my crocheting, while still staying securely in place. My PT recommended it, and I told her it's my "bionic thumb". Honestly the difference is like night and day! I am completely satisfied, and the seller is FANTASTIC, plus it was delivered to me a week earlier than expected! :)

Excellent product to alleviate pain from trigger finger
This is an excellent product to alleviate pain from trigger finger. I wear this product every night to prevent my fingers from flexing and causing extreme pain. This definitely has been a game-changer for me. I've purchased three packages, so I have one available to me at all times. They appear to be very durable, yet flexible and strong enough to keep my finger from bending.

Helpful, but not quite fitted for mallet finger imho
Great for freeing up my finger to type. Two issues: it didn’t quite make my finger straight enough to correct mallet finger and it actually began cutting off circulation and my finger started swelling. Had to continually remove it, and finally had to go back to my old splint overnight with a little diy padding to cause the finger to be bent a little back at the tip. Lot of trial and error. Then my finger was locked from bending no less than a 90 degree angle, but over time with movement, alternating hot water and cold water while moving it, and the use is about 95% bendable. This splint is a good idea and probably works well for various issues, but for mallet finger you will need it to bend the tip back a little more. I would recommend it as an option for some conditions. Also, for the record it is taking about 5-6 months for full healing of mallet finger, and now it bends not only straight, but I can hyper extend it like before the injury. Long healing though, especially while moving, lifting, packing boxes.

Works well and made in the USA!
This finger splint works so well! I’m taking the time to review as I saw a review where the buyer was wearing the splint backwards, so of course that doesn’t work. Wear it properly and it will prevent your finger from bending. I purposely bought from this company and paid more as it’s made in the USA! Buy the other ones and you get 5 or 6, but notice they are all different sizes. It’s important to measure your finger at the knuckle to get the right size for you. I will say the packaging is a little misleading as there are TWO in the picture but you only get one. I think the seller should consider putting two in the package, considering both the package picture as well as the price.

DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! I used the sizing guide to determine the size I ordered. The product was way too large. In order to return it I am being charged $4.54 postage which was not apparent on the product description. Seller was contacted and said that was an Amazon policy and could not do anything about it. Amazon says it is the seller’s policy. Just don’t buy it.

Very good--but they keep falling off and disappearing
Oh, these are very good. They fit well, they hold the finger as straight as needed for pretty much whatever ails you. They are not as obtrusive as many of the other types. But they have a problem with falling off. Looking at it, I can see that there isn't any place to put something to hold it on; the design is very simple, and any sort of fastening would complicate things. The odd thing about their falling off, at least for me, is that they Are Never Heard From Again. There must be seven or eight of the things lurking somewhere in the obscure recesses of my house. I am tempted to blame the washing machine; I know for sure that it steals handkerchiefs. In any case, you have to use a piece of tape if you have any hope of keeping them. I'm looking for tape that is good for the purpose. I've been using Micropore surgical tape, which has a lot of good uses; this is not one of them, because it leaves a gummy residue. The only Band-Aids that stay on wet or dry are the fabric ones, and within an hour or so, you have ratty raveled edges there. I'm thinking about those Velcro ties I use to group my computer wires. Ah, well, my problem. Anyway, the splint is worth five stars. The constant falling off is the reason for the down-tick.

Relief for trigger finger
Helped immensely with my trigger finger. Had surgery on another finger and didn't want to go through that again. This guard helped my tendon rest and I avoided another surgery.
