I bought this as a way to translate a conversation from those that don't speak English. Once I charged the device and created the app I tried to speak to someone there was nothing from the device. I called the company and they told me to return from where I purchased. I have returned the device and reordered in hopes that it just a malfunction. If it would work this would be great.

we have a helper that comes every two weeks that we are very close with. she speaks no english and we chat by typing in the phone. I purchased this through Enence for my wife many weeks before Christmas. I was perturbed because it was suppose to arrive in time as a present. I actually tried to cancel the order as it was so late. It finally arrived mid January. My wife loved it. Our friend was amazed and they chatted by voice !. I got on Amazon and purchased another. It was 1/3 the price ! and arrived the next day !!The same exact device ! and gave it to her and she was so excited she broke down in tears. She even texts us from home and it translates the texts! Very Nice to pair with an iPhone ..that i know!

Work's well and easy to operate.

The translations appear accurate and rapid; however, the volume on the translation is low and adjustment only goes from completely mute to low, barely above a whisper. The consequence is the person receiving the translation must listen closely. There's no repeat button, so if they didn't hear the low volume translation then you have to start over. As a practical matter this means you have to push the button, speak a sentence into it then quickly hold it to the ear of the person you're talking to before the translation plays about two seconds later. Fix that volume issue and add a repeat translation button and this gets five stars.

Kinda small and the metal is slippery. Hold tight. But, the tra station function is easy. You need to use your Apple or android phone to install instructions and pair to your phone.

They lie about this product starting via advertisement U' say it doesn't require aan Internet connect it connects to your phone and if you're phone doesn't have connection it doesn't function besides that functions okay just make sure you carry a battery bank to keep your phone and this device charged

This was exactly as advertised and much better than we thought. I brought it for a Christmas present for my husband who has a friend who only speaks Spanish. They are now able to communicate easily together over a coffee.
