A timeless alpine design combined with superior fit yields performance that covers the whole mountain with confidence. Couple this with crucial removable vent covers and you get the perfect partner in crime for skiers who like it steep and deep.

Comfortable helmet!
Not much to say here. This Giro helmet is comfortable and easy to put on. The vents actually - for the first time in my life - work. I mean, I took those covers off and I could actually feel wind rushing through the helmet. Fantastic for warmer days! They work a bit like a ram scoop. The only reasons I don't give it five stars are because the vent system is binary and inconvenient - you either remove the vent covers and leave them someplace (unless you want to lug them around the slopes all day), or you leave them on - and because the clip for goggle straps is mounted sort of upside down. I know it's intentional for them, but it opens UP, which means that putting your goggles on your helmet does run the risk of yanking them off the helmet completely. Those are small complaints, though, for a helmet that fits me well, feels great, and keeps my head from overheating.

Full helmet for rippin'
Great Giro fit. Excellent chin strap and padding. Ears are a bit too vented for me. I placed some foam (open cell 1/8") in the ears to slow the wind (my ski area is notorious for windy conditions, so don't worry), Later I used some motorcycle (GSI) helmet headphones for sound and replaced the foam. Helmet strap retainer a bit odd. Use a sticky goggle strap and don't assume the goggle retainer will hold them if you pull them off on the chair and let them dangle. I switched to a ROKO Quick Strap and removed the rear retainer.

Good fit, Delivered as promised
Nice enough helmet. Good fit. Shipped on time and as promised. One of the few real full helmets available for snow sports. Guess I am just old school but other brands of snow helmets are trying to be ugly. Give the millennial generation what they want!Box says Designed in California USA, Made in China. Can't give any product 5 stars when the Manufacturer- Giro, does not care enough about its own product to carefully produce it themselves. Would gladly pay a few bucks more for a product produced in the USA.

Fit is agreeable to hearing aids.
Fits very well with over-the-ear hearing aids with little/no feedback issues. Helmet is warm but not overly so. Thin skull cap complements warmth for single-digit days.

Good helmet but no vents
This is a great helmet, I used it this entire season. I took some pretty hard falls on the slopes including few rough head bashes and it did a great job protecting my head from...
