I have the larger of the two sizes listed here. You can sit on it, but it's much smaller than the pictures show, unless those women are tiny people who live in dollhouses. The measurements are of course accurate so it's not like you shouldn't know what you're getting, but the pictures definitely mislead. I suppose you don't really need something much larger than this though, if the idea is just to have a direct connection that you can maintain while e.g. sitting or sleeping.I thought this would make a nice desk mat, I use an ergonomic setup at my computer where I have a side desk piece and my mouse arm is bent about ninety degrees at shoulder and elbow, and I use an upright mouse. Point being, I would be using this with my arm resting on it. It's comfortable, but there is a problem in that the texture of the mat disrupts the optical sensor of the mouse, so it jumps around sometimes. So to use it that way, I'd have to get a separate pad to put on top for the mouse, which kind of defeats the point. The texture also makes the mat a little noisy if you're sliding anything across it - sounds like a quiet record scratch, the high pitch sound of vinyl.Honestly, I'm pretty skeptical of the claims surrounding the grounding concept. If we keep things simple, there's nothing this mat can do that simple walking barefoot outside will not, all the wiring in a house is only more steps to the same end. And many of us have played with static discharge e.g. rubbing a balloon or carpet, and touching a metal doorknob - same principal. I suppose I can see an argument for wanting this specifically while sleeping, although I don't think we generally build up static rolling around in the sheets - unless your hair is always standing on end when you wake up.All of that said, placebo can be very powerful, and while I feel there is a lack of scientific backing to this concept, there are certainly people who swear by it.

This grounding mat has a very long cord. The mat itself isn't very big but I am still able to use it for some of my yoga poses and stretches. It turned on fine and seemed to be operating properly when I used it. I'm new to grounding mats so I cannot compare it to others but I'm happy that I got and have been using it daily since.

Made in China.This grounding mat comes with a very long cord, which is nice if the nearest outlet is several feet away from where you want to use the mat, but it can be really annoying and in the way if you use the mat near an outlet. The size of the mat is good for standing, but not big enough for a yoga mat or putting it under your sheets on your bed. It has a soft surface that is easy to clean. I really like that it comes with a wrist strap too, for more versatile use when you can't be standing on the mat. I don't feel anything, but it's worth a try, I guess.

love the design and the texture. love that it comes with a wrist strap. the cord is nice and long so that it is not a concern when using the mat. very easy to use

This mat looks exactly as pictured. It has a trippy design. Well made. The cord is very long. There's also a wristband. No odor. The items come in an unsealed resealable bag. The grounding mats claim to help with pain and stress, even for pets. We'll see. The 23.6"x13" is currently $24.99 plus 20% off.

I have a few of these mats. Some people around me believe they feel a positive difference. I can't say I have, but I still give it a try. All my mats look the same. I like the unique design of this one. It looks really slick and well made. The wristband does not have the design, but I like that it's a wide one and highly adjustable. The cord is plenty long too.

Nice looking grounding mat - my old one that broke was just matte black, this one has subtle artwork on it which is nice to see. I do morning stretches on it and it's comfortable to be on and doesn't slide around much.
