We put this SafeRest CloudGuard mattress protector on our queen bed a couple weeks ago and it’s made a noticeable difference. The top layer is nicely quilted and plush with a good bit of soft thickness to it, so it actually makes the mattress feel more comfortable overall — almost like it added a gentle pillow-top feel without being too puffy. The bamboo/viscose material is smooth and breathable; no sticky or sweaty feeling at night, which is great here in Florida.It’s genuinely waterproof too. The protector is quiet (no plastic crinkle sounds when you move), but it handled a spill from my kid without letting anything through to the mattress. Wiped clean easily with no staining or leftover smell. Our cat also hasn’t had any issues with it — no snags or pulling.The fit is excellent with deep pockets that hug the queen mattress snugly and stay in place even after washing and remaking the bed. No chemical odor out of the package, which was a nice surprise. It feels well-made and premium compared to the cheap thin protectors we’ve tried in the past.If you’re looking for something that protects your mattress really well while actually improving comfort with that soft, cushioned top layer, this is worth it. This mattress pad provides absolute heavenly padding to a mattress. The five stars are given because of its comfort, appearance, protection, and fit. I've not yet washed it, but I'm confident its cleaning will deserve the same five stars. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely love this product. It is so comfortable. I can vouch for the waterproofing as well, unfortunately my pet has occasional accidents and not once has anything gotten through to my mattress!! The only downfall is that it’s quite large/fluffy so it takes a long time to wash/dry, so I’m buying a second one!

Aug 20/2024 purchased. Jun 2026 now. Absolutely love this. My gel memory foam bed is my fav but takes about a yr to break them in. This protector padding has been amazing! No rips tears or spills on my bed! This is so worth it but it’s been 2 yrs almost and my beds broke in but the extra little fluff is nice. No material coming out anywhere like other peoples reviews! Will buy again 179 little price to pay but I’d buy again.

It was everything I hoped for it covered the mattress completely, had plenty of material to wrap under the mattress so it would stay put, very comfortable, perfect thickness, however, it retains too much body heat so I took it off and don’t use it.
