Wasn't sure what to expect but we are surprised how well it works

One of the endcap posts broke and a bearing seized on my DC14 Animal, so the brush bar would not rotate. The original brush bar was still good, but the replacement brush bar has fewer bristles (as others have posted). It took a few minutes, but I was able to remove the endcaps from the original brush bar and used the axle to push out the bad bearing. I did the same on the replacement brush bar, then swapped out parts. Now I have the original brush bar (with more bristles), with a new axle and bearing, and new end caps. And a replacement brush bar to keep on hand for the future. and yes, the new endcaps fit perfectly.

Installed part fairly easily and vacuum works like new ( it’s an old vacuum but dysons are built to last)

Works great! Just as good as from the factory. I like how there are two end cap adapters to fit the vacuum. Mine did not come with that little yellow brush show. In the picture but otherwise amazing value for the money!

I am very pleased with this purchase. Very fast shipping, the item arrived within 3 days of ordering. Perfect fit for my DC07 and it runs like new now.

Relatively easy to install and works beautifully! So happy we were able to find what we needed. Now my Dyson is working the way it should be - sucking up all the dirt, etc.

The part arrived on time but with a broken endcap. The plastic used seems to be a bit more brittle than the OEM part. It was shipped with only an Amazon plastic bag and may have been damaged in shipping. It was easier to use an endcap from the brush I replaced then return this one and wait for a replacement. The replacement brush has fewer bristles then the original. The original has 4 brushes per inch and this replacement has only 3. I will do a bit more research before I do another replacement.

We still have a Dyson animal from 2008. Part long discontinued but this works perfectly and was quick to install.

Hard to install without the proper belt tool should have been included

Does the job. Difficult to install without belt lifter but can be done.

For a non oem part I’m very happy I didn’t have to spend more than I had to. Fits perfect, if you looking for this part to repair your dyson I recommend you get this one and not spend the extra on a original one. Cheers. Thanks for the part.
