Our local council has just introduced food waste caddies, but the grey plastic kitchen caddy they provided was particularly large and ugly and I was looking for something a bit nicer. Step forward Tydi. This is a lovely caddy, with a push button lid (great solution as I have arthritis) and a rimmed lid that keeps the bag neatly inside. A very good buy.

I love my food waste bin. It’s a great colour and stylish design. Easy to clean. Only negative is it’s not as deep as the ones our council provide.

I have given 3 stars for the style and quality of the bin. However, as a food bin, this does not have a tight seal and has air gaps at the opening push button. This is not good for a bin with scrap food in it. I had already destroyed the box it came in before i noticed this or I would have returned.

I only received this food waste bin 1 day ago but in the evening I got 2 waste food bags 3/4 filled up and ready to be disposed of. The bin held both food bags easily with room to spare for another. It is very easy to clean. A little warm/hot water, a little washing up liquid and a cloth. Sorted! 😘 The colour is nice and any errant food bits will show up before the escape makes a mess anywhere. Looks solid but it is lightish, too. It will survive for quite some time.

No handle! Its good otherwise and the catch stops my cat from helping himself to the 'overnight buffet'.

This takes the standard green bags. The press button to open is great and keeps smells like garlic enclosed. The base is sturdy and is easy to clean. Can completely recommend.

Love this! It looks great on the worktop. Easy to clean. Has grippers on the bottom to stop it sliding. Highly recommend

So slick in my kitchen. Love the clasp to shut it and keep smells inside the bin
