New AUTO GATE Latch Catch Garden Yard Gates Door Lock FREEPOST

This was bought as a replacement for a latch that had proved to be flimsy and rusted badly really quickly. It is a very solid feeling item. I fitted it very easily and it works well. The metal latch is painted/coated so I'm hoping that it will not rust. I am very pleased with the latch so far.

I was looking for a big old heavy gate latch like I used to have in my childhood. This ticks the box in terms of design but it's not very sturdy so I'm not sure how long it will last. I wish I could find those big thick galvanised steel ones that were on my grandmothers gates!

Arrived on time, and does the job and easy to screw in. For just replacing a rusted over latch its worth the price

The latch part seems very loose and the item arrived with no screws. Not a great experience and wouldn't recommend.

I have already reviewed this item and gave it a 4 star. A;though it looks strong and secure I have yet to attach it to my gate as it came without screws. With lockdown and us doing shielding we cannot get any screws as yet.

This works well, but with some wood make sure you've got a strong hand if you're using a screwdriver for the Job, apart from that it's Good.
