Easy Termination of Ethernet Cables
These are excellent. I've tried putting RJ45 connectors on a cable and it's a bit of a faff. With these it's much simpler. Cut another cable in half, bare the wires, and slot them in. As long as the colours match on both sides (the slots are numbered: 1s Greens, 2s Green/Whites, 3s Oranges, etc.) you've extended a cable! No need to worry about the formal ethernet layout. So much easier!

Useful for making passive connections
I needed to join two cables in a loft and I didn't want to put another switch/hub up there so these little joiners did the job. They don't come with a punchdown tool though so you'll need to get one separately. It's a shame they can't include a simple plastic one at least. The quality seems OK given the low cost. Just make sure you know which colours (T568A or B) is in use at the other end of the cable or you won't get a connection. Instructions are in the listing.
