Can the product be used to hand clean the carpet with a brush & is wet wiping over required. .?

I have not used this cleaner to clean a whole carpet, just used it to clean spills (grand children!!) on a small area. I put some warm water in a bowl and add some of the cleaner then get a small sponge and dip it in. Then squeeze most of the water out so it is mainly foam on the sponge. Give the spill a good rub and then leave to dry and vacuum. I don't go over it with any water.

Can this be used in a manual carpet shampooer?

I used it in a vax upright corded machine,but I think you would be able to use it in a manual one as after all it's only a carpet cleaner that produces low foam.

What's the dilution ratio?

This product was not packed properly lost 1bottle of it as it had leaked
