Lascelles London Chrome Wall Clock With Sweep Seconds Hand - 30cm

I needed a new kitchen clock and decided to take the opportunity to look for a clock that had everything I wanted from a kitchen clock, rather than just making do with any old replacement . There have been many times I have been tempted to make do and just get one, but I can't tell you how much I love this particular clock. It has taken 9 months to find, but it is PERFECT.The clock has a large face, the numbers 3cm in height, the font used bold, clear and simple reminding me of my old school clocks. The time can be read from the adjoining dining room without having to find my glasses. The clock has clear individual minute markings and therefore easy to have the exact time count down for my son to get out of the house to get to school !The second hand glides around rather than a jerky jump second to second.It is completely silent. No tick, hum or any other sound. (I love a ticking clock, but we have a grandfather clock for that close by)The clock feels steady and solid even before the batteries are added. The chrome surround is metal not painted plastic and the glass cover is domed.Delivery was fast and packaged appropriately arriving in perfect condition .I look at my new clock and smile at how delighted I am with it. I could not ask for more . It is understated and simple which only adds to its majesty(How sad is it that I'm so easily pleased!!!!)

I bought this to replace our previous one of the same model which went wrong after about 8 years. Stylish chrome finish, very easy to read at a distance and best feature is the smooth, silent, sweeping action of the second hand. Takes 1 AA battery which lasts several months. Really glad we were able to find a replacement.

liked the retro style and large clear numbers. It arrived promptly and well-packed. The clock felt surprisingly light but of course battery powered so no clockwork parts inside. It looks great on the wall and doesn't make a sound.

I had to return this clock for a refund!The clock face was 90 degrees out of position, the 3.00 pm position was at the top of the face when hung on the wall!!I do not recommend this product.

Does everything required of a clock, looks good, keeps time, easily visible and doesn't tick into the bargain.
