Smooth and uncomplicated operation, well-protected plastic-coated cable so will not scratch locked articles.

Only had lock a month and the cable has broken out of the barrel lock, will not buy again

So far, so good. I’ve had to return 2 faulty locks (D lock and folding lock) before I got this one. Third time lucky. Seems to work ok, easy lock action, really solid cable. Time will tell if it carries on working and my bike isn’t an easy target for thieves, that’s why I’ve given it 4 out of 5.

As expected, really pleased with it.

It is a real shame that the good build quality, finish and sturdiness of the padlock is not equally matched to that of the keys. I have now experienced this issue with two orders - I was hoping that the first weak key was just a dud (I hadn't even fully unpacked it!) but I have used the replacement product just a couple of times during the last month and this key has just disintegrated in my hand like before. A real disappointment! Amazon returns service has been great.Saying that, the padlock is super tough and thick and would definitely deter or slow someone down who might be trying to break through.

As it is coiled it is a pain to use!!I know it states its coiled, But try pulling it through something to lock up and it doesn't want to uncoil.

We had used this lock for a while, but last night both our bikes were stolen. We'd locked up two bikes with this one lock, went and had something to eat, came back and it had been cut. A very clean cut, possibly with wire cutters. Wouldn't recommend if security is important to you.
