UPDATE: The seller gave me a refund and took the information to update the listing and work with the manufacturer. This means as of now 9-5-25 it is not compatible with the 13 Explorer XLT with the moving guidelines. If you don’t have moving guidelines you’re good. Base models it’s good. All other things like proximity warning all work correctly. XLT and up you need a different camera. It lights up but now the guidelines point hard left all the time! It doesn’t matter how you turn the wheel it’s always hard left! I am a used car dealer and have replaced probably 100 of these cameras. This is the first time I’ve gotten one that caused the guidelines to completely fail.

installed camera on a 2013 ford explorer limited. Camera worked ok with the system, however, there was a glitch at the top of the camera displayed on the screen. I ended up purchasing another camera. Too cheap to send it back. I think that's what they hope for; that you won't send it back!!!! Its Chinese!

Camera fits and works perfectly. We have a 2013 Explorer so make sure you google the right video. No need to remove the entire trunk panel piece, you can just remove the metallic “Explorer” thin panel from the outside of the trunk. Be patient and you’ll need a star allen key for one of the inside screws to get into and remove the camera. All in all a 30 minute job.

Worked ok for about a month in a half and then started to get blurry and then stopped working completely. Only thing good about it was an easy install. Didn't last long before messing up tho. Bad review.

Camera worked great for a month. I think water damage caused it to malfunction after not replacing deteriorated weatherstripping. I am purchasing another one.

Item is defective. Lines across the screen. There is a PERMANENT set of curved lines on the screen, that do not move when you turn the wheel.

FIXED my 2013 Ford Explorer back up camera that was very intermittent before. I followed some easy videos on YouTube and with a few tools I had laying around I was able to remove the rear chrome plate where the camera is housed and swap it out. Now it works everytime without delay. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FORD EXPLORER TO A DEALER JUST DO A LIL RESEARCH AND GET YOUR REAR VIEW CAMERA BACK FOR $600 Cheaper.

Doesn't last long it's not working after a few months

Easy to replace! Unfortunately it has a smaller field of view, when compared with the OME, like if it is zooming in! I feel a bit uncomfortable when moving my car using it, may need to get used to it! I compared it with the OME, and seems that the lens is not coming in flush with the framing, a bit sinking in. May be that is the reason!

Funciona excelente, solo conectarla y no requiere ningún tipo de configuración extra. Muy recomendable. En la agencia del distribuidor de Ford nos querían cobrar casi diez veces su valor!

Seems like its better than my original rear view cam. Much brighter and clearer. The lane assist also works so well. Saved more than 500 bucks if bought original from dealership!

Se mira pero la calidad de video es pobre. Y se le ve un glitch en la parte de arriba. Además las líneas de guía se quedan pegadas

Save your money and buy a real one. I cheaped out and bought this, vision is distorted and not good at all. I would have returned it but i already had paid for the installation. Would not recommend this one. I know better for next time ( as i am sure this won’t last )
