Good quality long lasting spanners
Good quality long lasting spanners. Comes in a good range of sizes. These were replacements for spanners I had for twenty years.

Steel too soft
I did not buy this exact item, but instead was given the same set 10mm to 32mm in different packagaing nearly 20 years ago as a prize for letter of the month in a car magazine. I never used it until about a year ago, when I used the 10mm spanner on a nut and the spanner kept coming off as the metal was bending. I had some Victor spanners in my toolkit as well, and used the 10mm of those and it worked fine on the nut. I have not used the other Kamasa spanners but it does not instill confidence and I will likely try to sell them or just throw them out. I have a cheap ratchet drive set that I use instead these days. I would not buy Kamasa again. Perhaps quality is different now, I couldn't say.

Good value tools
I have a full sets of Metric and AF combination, open-ended and ring spanners, which I bought back in 1980, when I was a motor mechanic working for a local authority. At the same time, I also bought three socket sets, a ¾" drive metric socket set, a ½" drive multi-standard set and a ¼" drive set of the same type. I have used the tools continually since then and they have never let me down. Kamasa are a good make and apart from the lack of a 'lifetime' (whatever that means) guarantee, that the VERY expensive brand offers, my Kamasa tools are every bit as good.
