We have bifolding doors in our conservatory in a fairly rural area so flies , bees etc. have been a problem for us for years. We’ve tried numerous fly screens (mostly the cheap material design with Velcro and magnets) and nothing has really worked. Saw these during a search and almost went straight on because of the price, but the ratings drew my attention to read more.Anyway, although still slightly dubious we thought we’d try a pair. After ordering during the first week in May Delivery was guaranteed by Monday 11th but they arrived early on Saturday 9th. Immediately put them up - Now this is my only gripe, they are pretty heavy!! And we were trying to put them up on the inside of our conservatory which is uPVC so didn’t want to drill holes. I had purchased some heavy duty plastic hooks which were stick on, tried 4 for each screen but they weren’t strong enough to hold it up In the end we used 10!!But I have to say, and I don’t know how they work, but we’ve been bug free ever since - WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

After years of getting through umpteen of the cheap plastic fly blinds, and getting fed up of sticking the plastic strands back on with sellotape as they tore off (!!!!), we decided to invest in something a bit more durable for our kitchen door.So pleased with did, and would thoroughly recommend. Arrived well packaged in a box, was instantly ready to hang, and very easy to do so. Only took about ten minutes before it was in place and in use. We have a pretty standard kitchen back door, and didn't need to adapt the size at all - perfect fit with enough overhang on each side of the door frame.Very sturdy without being too heavy, and fantastic for keeping the flies out. You don't get caught up in it either, as being so strong, it does part as it should for you to get through easily (unlike the plastic ones we had that seemed intent on trying to strangle me as I went through, and somehow would get caught round my neck!). Quite amusing watching our cat adapt to it, but after a couple of days of sitting in front of it working out how to part it with her head, she's now a pro at coming in and out through it!Can't really recommend high enough to be honest. Strong, sturdy, easy to pass through, and most importantly of all, does a great job of keeping the flies and wasps out.

Over the years we have spent a small fortune on plastic bead equivalents of this metal chain link screen. Of course they are cheap but with two German Shepherds constantly rushing in and out of the door they usually last a couple of months at best - and that is wwith me constantly repairing them! However, this product has been up almost a week and has not shown any weakness in terms of its build. Easy to put up, although to be fair I already had some brackets on the door. What has impressed us is that we have not had a single wasp or bee enter and, so far, one small fly has been found - but this could have come in elsewhere not necessarily via the screen. Unlike the beads which tangled this is heavy enough to gentle sway in the breeze - obviously helping to keep out the insects. It hasn't tangled at all and is proving to be an excellent buy and well worth the money. Obviously it is more expensive than other types but it does the job and I can see no reason why we won't get quite a few years use out of it - so worth every penny. Nearly forgot, I did shorten the chain lengths because as it came it was a few links too long and snagged the bottom of the doorway - however this was simple and took around 5 mins to do all the lengths. Very, very pleased!

Firstly the product works we have not had a fly in the house since we installed it. It is relatively light and I have left it an inch or two longer to prevent any breeze lifting it up. The aluminium is easy to work with to add or remove links. The only disadvantage is that the attachment is at the top of the door and we have a composite door that does not work well with the large screws supplied. I would prefer an optional side fixing.

Really pleased with this product. I purchased the pair it it fits exactly to my double doors. I didn’t like the fact that the hanging brackets would be visible. So I turned them upside down and drilled a hole in the centre of the bracket. I screwed this to the conservatory and hung the the curtains. Easy and they look really good. Four hours and not one fly has got through. Hopefully I am not tempting fate. The seller responded to my questions really quick as well. I would recommend.

Easy to fit into th space you are covering, seem to keep flies out so far and the screen looks god in the kitchen and lounge.... Used a wooden baton screwed to ceiling recess and screwed screen to it as had to cover UPC patio doors....

I don't usually bother to write reviews, but this product is so excellent, I just had to comment. Arrived earlier than was promised, well packaged and very easy to install. I got the twin pack to cover a pair of French doors in our conservatory. This conservatory was a trap for all sorts of flying bugs and I've spent ages chasing around with a fishing net saving bees and butterflies from an untimely death. Since I installed the curtains I can honestly say that we haven't had a single bug in the conservatory. My only regret is that I didn't get them years ago. Not cheap but worth every penny!

I am delighted with this door screen. It looks good and, importantly does just the job we required - stopping our garden blackbirds flying into our kitchen to steal cat food (not a good idea). The product was delivered on time and perfectly packaged. When I think of the money I have wasted on beaded door screens and mesh door screens, this is great value for money. Our dogs (and cat) find it no problem to negotiate. I also found it very helpful that previous buyers, who were all impressed with the door screen, were able to answer questions I had and did so very positively and very quickly. Thank you all..
